Are libertarianism and nationalism compatible?

Thank goodness
This is the dumbest thread I've seen today.
One is a baby that over-applies shitty heuristics to everything. One is a baby that selectively applies shitty heuristics to everything that seems wimpy and ignores them for things that seem tough. Not compatible and both wrong.

No.
Libertarianism believes in open borders.

No.

This
Anyone would agree that before 1913 all the immigration we had was great for America. The problem is you can't have open borders and a welfare state.

I'm for libertarianism within my country's borders.
What does that make me?
>>78457318
No, since nationalism works and libertarianism doesn't.
Regardless, a nation requires a state, and a state requires a government.

Nationalism is compatible with open borders. You just have to take away all incentives so the hordes wouldn't bother coming in. Say there were open borders, but nobody wanted to let pakis work and rent. Nobody would sell pakis any food, nobody would let pakis rent apartments because they're fucking foreigners.

Look into Hans Hermann Hoppe.

Ask the founding fathers.

I think they say yes?
>>78458614
Every single one of them would give a different answer.
Also, Hamilton was right.
