>I guess what I'm trying to say is by giving up on our religion we let the muslims force theirs on us .
this is why I hate religions
If a religion is used a particular lifestyle I'm ok with this. You can live as you like. But it is when it mixes with politics that the problems start, like claiming you can't do something because God told so when in reality another man just told that.
Muslims will slowly refuse their religion and will finally accept how powerful unique reason is
We laugh at the men who prayed stones and dead animal, we will laugh at men who pray on warlords and merchants

>christians are communists and racemixers
Christianity is philosophically socialist, but that has never been a part of Christian politics.

Racemixing is not commanded by Christianity anywhere. Not segregating worship based on race, yes, but no where does it say you have to date and marry outside your race. In fact, the book on "Contemporary Moral Issues' at my Orthodox parish says you shouldn't marry outside your race, since it makes the marriage less likely to endure (don't know how true that is though).

Due to a big demographic shift, your religion is on the way out in Europe and you've done it to yourself. How do your propose to fix this? How do you propose to deal with radical leftist protestant churches in Scandinavia, Germany and the UK and the ever increasing leftist drift of the Catholic Church?

These are the issues I want to see solved, not because I care about your religion but because it used to be a wall against Islamization and is now facilitating it.

Absolutely.

Keep God, Christ, and the Holy Ghost in you.

Here is what will happen;

The "breath of life" into the "image of the beast" to allow it to speak and move and command the death of those who don't worship it; well, that breath of life will be sentient AI. The image of the beast will be a machine, a non-living body, a robot.

Now, the mark of the beast, that will come to us as the opportunity to "upload our brains." The ruse of eternal life through machines will convince many, and they will "upload" themselves only to guarantee their death right then or, as we know, after the second coming.

Those who refuse, will be persecuted, as the world will no longer be physical. It will be virtual - Brains in machines. You will not be able to buy or sell as there will be nobody to buy or sell to. And with everyone in machines, the genocide of those who refused this 'mark' will be easy.

>>
>>78201177
Oh, please.

Shitty bait. To "give pussy to the horny" is to do something very immoral. Sex is between a man and a woman in marriage. It is not something meant for anything else.

Better bait would be "give wives to the lonely" but then it still stomps on the fundamental concept that marriage if a bond of love, and you can't truly love who you are pushed to marry.

And that's how that verse is interpreted? I suppose everyone who believes the word of the bible can do what you're doing now and think its true.
>>
>>78201779
I just explained to you why even revising your bait makes it shitty.

To specifically offer up our women is sinful, as it denies the truth of love, it denies the fact marriage is built on love.

And most women can't truly love sandniggers. Catholic/Orthodox/Truly Christian women at least.

I think Dugin says it best

>I consider the “White nationalists” allies when they refuse modernity, the global oligarchy and liberal-capitalism, in other words everything that is killing all ethnic cultures and traditions. The modern political order is essentially globalist and based entirely on the primacy of individual identity in opposition to community. It is the worst order that has ever existed and it should be totally destroyed. When “White nationalists” reaffirm Tradition and the ancient culture of the European peoples, they are right. But when they attack immigrants, Muslims or the nationalists of other countries based on historical conflicts; or when they defend the United States, Atlanticism, liberalism or modernity; or when they consider the White race (the one which produced modernity in its essential features) as being the highest and other races as inferior, I disagree with them completely.

>More than this, I can’t defend Whites when they are in opposition to non-Whites because, being White and Indo-European myself, I recognize the differences of other ethnic groups as being a natural thing, and do not believe in any hierarchy among peoples, because there is not and cannot be any common, universal measure by which to measure and compare the various forms of ethnic societies or their value systems. I am proud to be Russian exactly as Americans, Africans, Arabs or Chinese are proud to be what they are. It is our right and our dignity to affirm our identity, not in opposition to each other but such as it is: without resentment against others or feelings of self-pity.
cont
>>
>>78203401

>I can’t defend the concept of the nation, because the idea of the “nation” is a bourgeois concept concocted as a part of modernity in order to destroy traditional societies (empires) and religions, and to replace them with artificial pseudo-communities based on the notion of individualism. All of that is wrong. The concept of the nation is now being destroyed by the same forces that created it, back during the first stage of modernity. The nations have already fulfilled their mission of destroying any organic and spiritual identity, and now the capitalists are liquidating the instrument they used to achieve this in favor of direct globalization. We need to attack capitalism as the absolute enemy which was responsible for the creation of the nation as a simulacrum of traditional society, and which was also responsible for its destruction. The reasons behind the present catastrophe lie deep in the ideological and philosophical basis of the modern world. In the beginning, modernity was White and national; in the end, it has become global. So White nationalists need to choose which camp they want to be in: that of Tradition, which includes their own Indo-European tradition, or that of modernity. Atlanticism, liberalism, and individualism are all forms of absolute evil for the Indo-European identity, since they are incompatible with it.

An analogy:

If you spent some time with me IRL, you would get to know me based on the things I say and do, how I react to different situations, etc. We may even become best friends over time, and spend lots of time together.

But you would never know my internal dialogue, my thoughts, my gut feelings, etc. I could describe them, but you would never know them the way I know myself.

That is my "essence." It is the part of me that is unknowable to anyone but myself. My "energies" are all the observable things: what I say and do.

The same is with God. His "energies" are his divine revelation, his love, his grace, his justice, and every way he makes himself known. His "essence" is a complete mystery.

In Orthodox theology, God's energies are God Himself. God's grace is God himself.

The West teaches that grace is a created thing, a spiritual "thing" that God gives to people. But for Orthodoxy, grace (and all of God's energies) are God Himself, and He "gives" us these things by our participation in the life of God. In fact, Orthodoxy has defined the idea of "created grace" as heresy.

This is important because of our understanding of salvation as theosis, rather than a judgement.

What is the Halo, exactly? Why does it have such intricate designs too?
Sometimes whenever I get extremely inspired I feel something rising in my head....could that be some sort of halo?
>>
>>78196046
a few reasons.

I feel empty, and i've always been hungry for spiritual understanding, although i tend to be skeptical. its not fun.
When I was young, my parents taught me some Christian things, but they weren't really the religious types. As an edgy teen, I was an atheist and became involved in LaVeyan satanism. But that lost its novelty quick.

I met this Paki girl I wanted to fuck in high school and decided to give Islam a try (didn't work). I saw how shitty that was quickly as well. I decided to shop around for Christian churches, and became LDS. It was fun and the people were great, albeit odd. I stopped attending because as a convert I felt really isolated. Everything in that culture is family-orientated, and the loneliness got to me. Not to mention I couldn't stop the porn, swearing, coffee, etc. Now that I am using more substances than before (weed, alcohol) I don't think it would be easy to go back.

I still love reading the Bible though. So I decided maybe now, years later I could give religion another try. The Holy war between Muslims and everyone else is coming, too. I want to be on the non-savage side and be protected by God.
>>
>>78193870

>>78209473

You can always go back, it's never too late to repent. You don't want to be in a situation where you need to repent, but it's too late. Some of the most strongest christians I meet are the ones that almost lost their life to sin and was able to get their life back together by giving it to Jesus.
>>
>>78207706
>catholic girls are fucking crazy. Just don't.
Kinda agree with this, kinda. From my experience catholic girls are a hit or miss on the crazy. But im one of few guys that can handle crazy girls, but only if they're really attractive. Like i made this beautiful pale skinned, blue eyed brunette wear an outfit like a toga dress and veil around the house and give me massages at a moments notice. She'd also act like a social buffer and even put up with a little abuse if i was having a bad day or if she was annoying me. She'd get really jealous tho but then again i like it when a crazy bitch obsesses over me and treats me like im her world and i can defuse bitch outlashes with humor.

>>78208517
Probably a shitpost but if your serious you realize unless you're a richfag you cant financially handle 10 children right? You might be able to if you'ref a fucking farmer or you feel like being a tax drain. The most children you can raise at a responsibility while maintaining a quality is 3 or 4, maybe 5 or 6 if you're upper middle class and even then you're going to be strain as you have to give personal attention to each one of them.

I wanna have 4 kids myself btw, hopefully no more then 2 girls or else i'd kill myself.

>should the Pope be the head of all the bishops? (Cath: yes, Orth: no)
>are God's acts part of God himself? (Cath: no, Orth: yes)
There used to be the whole "Filioque" argument about the Trinity, too, but turns out that it's just the idiosyncrasies of Latin vs. Greek tripping people up.
Most Orthodox believe in purgatory, too, but they tend to not like to use the term "purgatory."

The two of them together comprise the descendants of the original Nicene Church.
>>

Aye thanks. I kinda figured that was the case with the pope but wasn't sure. I think i might technically be Orthodox. One thing tho.
>are God's acts part of God himself? (Cath: no, Orth: yes)

Dont exactly get what the meaning of this is, does it mean man is responsible for himself / you cant control god's destiny if he has a plan for you?

It's just bread and juice. They don't even consecrate it. Protestants don't care about the eucharist, they are heretics. They see it as symbolic, but it's not. It's literally the body and blood of christ. But not when they do it, because they do it wrong.

Correct. Jesus is the Logos, the Second Person of the Trinity, incarnate as man. There is but one essence of the Trinity, though, and it is inaccessible to us; Christ had this essence, but it was inaccessible. The energies of God were made manifest during the Transfiguration though.

Was thinking about going back to church. I was one of those people that started watching porn in 4th grade, started downloading murder/suicide vids the next year and never looked back. For whatever reason I only just recently realized how desensitized I am to everything and how I've fried my brain on so much garbage. I quit watching porn and going to gore sites a while back but I'm still hesitant to go to church.

How do you guys juggle being a church going Christian and coming to 4chan? I feel like the person I've been all these years isn't really who I am, like my actions-alcohol, drugs, porn, watching all this gore garbage without feeling bad and perverting my mind, doesn't match my core beliefs and yet I've been doing it for so long, I feel like Zoolander when he looks at his reflection in that puddle and asks "Who am I?"

Can I become more "normal" by spending time around positive Christian people and refraining from all the garbage on the internet? Please explain.

I remember back to being 3 years old when I was self aware and seeing all the Jesus paraphernalia my parents had hanging around the house. There was one in particular, that gave me a rivers of chills and it was the iconic picture of Jesus levitating a bleeding heart with thorns over his left hand.

I asked my father, who is this man and he replies. "That's the all father, that is god."

I asked him who is god.

And he responds, "the man that created from the water in the oceans to the stars in the sky."

By 7 years old I remember spending several hours trying to figure out logically, if God created us, then who created God.

During these thoughts. I recall seeing in my mind I was visually experiencing now looking back, 5 dimensional loops of God creating himself in infinity till one day he created the angels and then eventually the universe, and then the stars, and eventually us.

I realized at that age, God was self efficient and self replicating. In the beginning there was god, and in the end there will be God.

For God is timeless, and God is all powerful and all knowing.

And we are on borrowed time, meek, and limited with our comprehension.

To understand how God came to be and the rest of all of creation isn't something we will never fully be able to understand.

But what I do know with the utmost certainty of my heart, that those that seek and respect god by following the 10 commandments will be granted with him indirectly revealing his almighty love and power.

Here's my story for whatever it's worth:

For weeks I had this mystery illness where I was always feeling faint and this dread that I was going to drop dead any second. My doctor prescribed some drugs but they didn't help. One night at work when it was really bad I remembered reading on /pol/ that someone said that God gave him all he ever prayed for, so I decided to give it a try. Immediately after I finished my ramble of a prayer I felt this intense tingling all throughout my body, as if someone dumped a bucket of ice water on my head. It was cold but it didn't hurt, it legitimately felt like I was being blessed then and there. I stood up, and I didn't feel faint at all. I looked around and felt no dizziness. I was cured completely.

Oh look. Another guy who thinks his sins are too terrible for an omnipotent Creator Deity to forgive.

I pray that God moves in your life to show you how wrong you are in this regard. Everything you know is wrong. You're a child who is lost; you think your world is ending just because you are not now where you are supposed to be. Soon, you will see that all was fine all along, and it was merely your perception that was wrong.

You need to get on your hands and knees, Go into prayer, and beg God for a changed mind,

After you do this, you need to put your trust in Christ alone for your salvation

If you do this and take it seriously, you will be saved

Read these chapters if you need biblical confirmation on what I am saying

Romans 1
John 3
Romans 10

After you get saved, find a bible based church were you can grow in your knowledge of God

If the voices come back, Read 1 John the whole letter, it gives assurance to those who are saved

Don't listen to people dragging you down. Be well in Christ. Know that as you do your best to draw toward God, God will draw towards your own heart as well.

Hey senpai

I just wanted to tell you guys about the best prayer I have ever prayed

I was reading about Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane. He knew he was going to suffer the next day and was stressed about it; it's the only time we ever see Christ in distress. He asks the disciples to stay awake and pas the night with Him. He didn't want to be alone, knowing what He was going to face the next day but in their human frailty and ignorance they failed Christ and fell asleep. He even asked "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me". Our Savior must have been suffering so much at that moment; knowing and feeling divine apprehension about what He had to do; alone...imagine, Our Savior, our Beloved, alone in the hour of need.
It hit me hard senpai. And I prayed to God to reach out across time and reach Christ at that moment when He knew He was alone; when he assumed humanity's sins, and sweat blood. I asked God that my prayer may be made known across time (for time is no object to God) and that it may reach Christ when he was all alone, in that garden on a springtime night in 1st century Jerusalem, so that He might know that in some small way He's not alone, that I know what's facing Him, that I love Jesus and don't want Him to face all that totally alone. To just say in some way that I'm here, so far away, in space and time, wishing I could be with my Lord at that time.

It felt really good. That prayer was a turning point in my life actually.

Thank you for sharing that. I've wondered what I would say to Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane. Probably the only thing I would say would be "thank you". I've done so many terrible things, thought so many terrible things. Social convention was the only thing keeping me from moving those things from thought to action. I'm not worth what Jesus did for me.

Its really the post puzzling mystery of the faith, and one of the reasons why I tend to lean more toward the orthodox side of things (which for me, being protestant, Catholicism would be included when I say orthodox). My fellow Baptists think they know everything. They have an explanation for everything, even concepts that I believe are truly unfathomable. But the thing nobody has ever been able to explain is why God loves us, why Christ did what he did on Calvary's cross, why time and time again when we stray, the Spirit calls out to us. Truly the most blessed mystery of our faith.

A lot of chanting, a lot of icons, a lot of incense, a lot of prayer, and a lot more standing than in other churches (especially if that parish doesn't have pews).

If there are icons on the way in, it is customary to kiss bow and make the sign of the cross and kiss the hand (I also kiss Christ's foot). During the service many people make the sign of the cross regularly. Orthros and Liturgy are generally back-to-back, so if you come early and find yourself walking into a service (generally with not many people), don't feel weird, it's intended you walk right in while a service is going, so it feels like you are walking into heaven.

In the antechamber, there will be candles, and you can buy and light one if you wish, and place it next to other candles with a prayer (this represents being a beacon of light in the world).

>That or the main Anglican branch in England
Of America, only the Episcopal Church is in communion with the CoE, but the CoE did indeed penalize the Episcopal Church for gay marriage

Prince Charles is getting very cozy with Orthodoxy and might make the CoE the English Orthodox Church.

What's your Question
>>
>>78238050
Crucified Christ is THE mystery. Once my heart was struck and quickened when I prayed and meditated thinking about what the Cross meant. There's so much there. The Cross with Christ crucified upon it is at the center of universe. It's the most elegant divine action. It sends ripples back and forward through time. At times I think I understand parts of it (Christ is defined as the Most Loving; there is nothing more loving than to be tortured to death for the salvation of all) but we can only scratch the surface. Hold that feeling and vision of the unfathomable depth close to you and know that's what Christ's love for YOU is like, and yes it's for *you* specifically not just generically for all people
