Well were never comitted to Germany in WW2, we joined simply because there were millions of german soldiers waiting to go to Greece that didn't really care if they're gonna pass as an occupation force or allies, so we had an ultimatum which we accepted after all. But we never really send people on the front. We just policed most of northern greece and serbia. Then the commies made a coup d'etat and we switched sides.

I disagree, just because it's not slavic doesn't mean we can't get along, and the reason I included them is as a mediating country if internal conflict occurs - they're a bit more disinterested (not disinterested enough that they don't fit into the union) and... well, as you said, they aren't slavic, not to mention they're a small country. The end result is that they could be a stabilizing force, wtihout having too much power in the first plac.
