This has always made me think, I'm of bean descent but to what extent are we a race?
As far as I know, hispanics are mostly the result of interbreeding of the Spaniards and Amerindians, that being said wouldn't that mean that eventually either the Spanish genes or Amerindian genes be rubbed out?
I'll use my family as an example, my mother is has strong Spanish genes with some native in her while my dad is almost full blown native. They both immigrated legally from El Salvador albeit different areas of the country.

Oh, I don't know. Since humans have been race mixing. How do you explain White Americans who have Native American blood? They look White yet their ancestors a century or two ago raced mixed.
