I had a husky so I know how they are. Honestly, did not expect that at all. Their behavior is extremely strange for a dog.
They do not tolerate solitude at all, to the point of going insane if they are left alone too much. They get uncomfortable for a lot of trivial things, and they really need to run and exercise. Also, they wont bark unless you put them with other dogs. Mine never really learned to bark.

I had a pure bred APBT that used to sleep on my bed every night. Never had any problems with it at all. I would frequently wrestle and play-fight with the dog and it never ever got violent. I could go stick my hands in its food bowl while eating- and the dog could care less. It was one of the nicer dogs I've ever had.

I'm a pitbull owner and they're fine dogs. They tend to be good around people, but do get defensive around other dogs. However, I've trained mine so he can be off leash even though he's still got his balls intact.
There are a few cities in my state that ban them, but that's because of fear mongering like "locking jaws." Frankly, it's more of a nigger and spic problem than a pitbull problem. If we want to nip it in the bud we should just place a nigger ban since the root of the issue is just people not training their dogs well or actually training them for malicious intent.

The most brutal attack I've seen was by a neighbor's labrador. My little brother has huge fucking scars on his face and arms from it and I had to essentially beat the ever-living shit out of the dog to get it to let go. I have a (small) Pitt Bull and the other day while walking her on a leash a huge orange and white siberian husky (off leash) charged my dog, mouth frothing and snarling, and tried to bite my dog's neck. I stuck my arm in front of it and got bit for her.

Basically I raised the dog alone because my wife and I separated after I caught her with my best friend. Long story short, she kicked me out soon after and I got my own place with the pitbull (Commando was his name). So Commando basically had no exposure to other people. I don't have friends or anything in the area so for about five years of his life the only person he knew was me. Anyway, one day my wife sent her "cousin" over to collect some things I had taken from her house when we lived together. Commando went crazy and when I tried to grab him, he bit my hand, then lunged at the cousin and bit him in the neck and stomach. I forget what the artery he hit was but he died in the hospital of blood loss not long after. I kept Commando, but I don't let him see people anymore.
