My granddad was a fisherman who also went to prison for manslaughter because he killed a guy while fighting at sea. His nickname was Tiger and he had lots of tats on his arms.
Obviously no one one would fuck with him but even before he was 60 you could barely even tell what the tats were supposed to be, with the colours all faded and the wrinkles.
I will never forget when he used to show me them and he would have to pull at his skin to tighten them up.
