That Westerners in general do not care about their history or ancestry. It was extremely hard to swallow because I have a masters in history, I love history, and I always wished that obscure peoples that died off a long time ago were still alive so that we could see what their culture was like, what they looked like, what language they spoke etc.
To have that view and then to see westerners having very little problems with multiculturalism, having fewer and fewer kids, abandoning customs for convenience is killing me. I'm watching a people slowly die, both spiritually and physically. It really is killing me.
