Sample of Reddit style political discussion - I literally went to /r/politics and copy pasted a paragraph from the first comment I saw at random:

Yes, 4chan and /pol/ in particularly is a whole lot of shitposting. You have to sift through a lot of it when you want to have a good discussion but I've always found to be worth it. There are a handful of interesting subreddits that are worth reading but they aren't frequented a lot.
The thing that /pol/ has over reddit is that it's unfiltered and honest.
