There's so many things to say here I'm not sure where to start... How about with the fact that you are already a federation of states, Mr. UK? Secondly that just plays into my point. One of the main ideas over here (for crazy right-wing nutjobs like the founding fathers) is to limit the power of the federal government so that the individual states can govern themselves, with exception to universal laws that all states agree on. Now, granted there is push by globalists to increase federal power, and reduce the importance of local governments, but it's got a lot of people pissed the fuck off, and rightfully so.
To put it another way, since you so kindly pointed out America's global supremacy, how would you feel if our American government was in charge of the whole world? That's Globalism baby.
