Namely, at best she has proven that there exists OTHER ideologies susceptible to cause violence, which still implies that ideologies can cause it. In the case of the Orlando shooting, we can link the violence to Islam. Nothing she said disproves the link that exists between ideologies and violence. The difference is that white shooters in America have their own personal motivation as to why they did it. They weren't doing it in the name of Christianity (or any group belonging to a greater good) neither did they claim to do so.
