Economyfag here

(TL;DR section of my rant about the economy scare tactics, look below to find my comments on pic related.)

The ENTIRE Remain campaign's argument for "economic losses and fleeing wealth" is based almost entirely on the strength of the pound.

Their projections about "every household being £4000 worse off" is completely based on THEIR SPECULATION of a sterling drop.

This number is simply "if the pound forex market dropped X percent, resulting is £X

By that logic, if the FTSE dropped by 20% every household in the country would lose > £50,000 a year. Meaning most people then magically owe, in some cases, several times their household income. It's fairytale economics. They are relying on the ignorance of the common people to not understand the terms and numbers being thrown around, and to scare them into thinking that if we leave, they will LOSE £4000 a year. Think about how scary that sounds to someone on £12k a year trying to feed their family. They don't know any better, they think they are personally going to lose that money. This is the fear they are preying on.

They are basing their economic figures on forex speculation, and we all know how accurate that is. Don't listen to the fear campaign, as EVEN IF it does happen, will hardly equate to actual economic losses for households.

(END of TL:DR section)

Related image shows sterling vs several leading currencies. This is to give you perspective on the claims the Remain campaign are spewing.

Marked in green is the drop resulting from November's industry stats which showed industry slowing in the UK. As you can see, this is by far the largest drop among any of the exchange rates.

Purple marks the period of the Referendum campaign. As you can see, the market is, on average, flat, with large drops and rises here and there.

The claims that Brexit will lead to a crash in the pound are unfounded. Sure, it would result in an initial market shock, but no substantive "flight of wealth."

>This number is simply "if the pound forex market dropped X percent, resulting is £X

I didn't finish this and forgot about it, adding my TL:DR section

What this is meant to say is "This number is simply "if the pound forex market dropped X percent, resulting is £Y lost from STERLING FOREX, this number, divided by Z number of households in the country, would equal the loss per household."

The GPD of britain is £2 trillion. The market value of FTSE, sterling, and other British-linket markets is well over £10 trn.

Income per household in the UK =/= value of the country's trade/business

There are 26 Million households in the UK. The average UK wage is £18k. That would equal £468 Billion of total household income. This is nothing compared to the GDP of England, let alone the combined values of global markets such as Sterling or the FTSE.

Equating household loss to sterling loss is absolutely fucking disingenuous and should actually be a criminal attempt at misleading the public.

Remain likes to say Leave tries to fudge figures, but this is a whole other level.

Vote Leave

>REMINDER FOR THE 24TH
Counts will get under way when polls close at 22:00 GMT Thursday, 23 June at 382 local centres around the UK. These local results will be declared as the counts are completed before being collated at 12 regional centres, which will also declare the totals for each side. There will be a rolling total so the time at which one side reaches the point of being mathematically unbeatable depends on how quickly the vote are counted and how close the results are running. It is a safe bet that from 4am onwards there should be pretty clear picture of which way the vote is going. A chief counting officer will announce the overall result at Manchester Town Hall.

also, the problem with films like Brexit is that they are attacking the EU itself. It's not the EU that gets to vote in the referendum.

If you want to have a real impact, you need to go after the Remain voters. You have to knock them off the moral high-ground. They've been extremely effective in stigmatising everyone who disagrees with them as racists and bigoted nationalists.

It isn't enough to educate them. Knowledge isn't the problem, it's knocking through that shell of smug self righteousness and showing to them that a lot of their motives aren't as noble as they pretend.

We don't need to turn them into Leave voters, we just need to shame them enough that they can't bring themselves to turn out on polling day.

hence,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UZSZJeeJGk

hopefully someone can do better than that.

Even if we do stay, this has served a much more important purpose.

It is now socially acceptable to be against lefties, immigration and globalised politik.

All Brexit really does is decide if we want to watch the EU zone crumble into civil war from the sidelines, or be a part of it ourselves.

Frodo : I can't do this, Sam. Vote Leave...

Sam : I know.
It's all wrong
By rights we shouldn't even be in the EU.
But we are.
It's like in the great stories Mr. Frodo.
The ones that really mattered.
Full of darkness and danger they were,
and sometimes you didn't want to know the end.
Because how could the end be happy.
How could Britain go back to the way it was when so much bad happened.
But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow.
Even darkness must pass.
A new day will come.
And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer.
Those were the stories that stayed with you.
That meant something.
Even if you were too small to understand why.
But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand.
I know now.
Folk in those Leave voters had lots of chances of turning back only they didn’t.
Because they were holding on to something.

Frodo : What are we holding on to, Sam?

Sam : That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it’s worth fighting for.

The first thing I ask myself when looking at an issue is "how does this affect me?"

Well I, and a lot of people I know, buy every single videogame, dvd, bluray, whatever from amazon.uk. Because believe it or not even with the shipping costs it's still cheaper than buying them here.

Once you guys leave the EU I will have to switch for amazon.de (because then I will have to pay import taxes from the uk) and that sucks cause the english version of the german amazon is still in beta.

So vote stay. K? Thanks!
>>
Guys, I am fucking terrified.
Be honest you meme loving fucks, can we do this? Can we really fucking win?
Yes I know the polls are in our favour but I still don't see it happening.
Nothing good ever happens.
EVER.
Only shit happens, and that's why I think our dreams are going to be fucking crushed.

Reminder that not even Cameron wants Juncker coming here.

>Jean-Claude Juncker isn't the kind of man who likes to be told to keep quiet. When it comes to defending the European Union, the Luxembourger doesn't usually hold his tongue for long. But when it comes to what could turn out to be the most important issue of his term in office -- the threat of Britain's exit from the EU -- the head of the powerful European Commission has been astonishingly quiet.

>The reason is that Juncker had to promise British Prime Minister David Cameron that the EU executive branch would stay out of the Brexit debate. Officials in Brussels have a miserable reputation in Britain, and the last thing Cameron needs at the moment are EU commissioners promoting the union. Much to Juncker's chagrin, that also applies to the Commission president himself.

>Juncker only managed to convince Cameron to give him a small loophole: If Brexit supporters have a clear lead in polls in the week prior to the June 23 referendum, the Commission president will be allowed to make his voice heard.

We are Britons though. The Germanic migration here didn't have that much effect, even in places like East Anglia the people are only 30% germanic, the vast majority of our blood is still Brythonic, all over Britain.

Do you think two hundred years ago your ancestors would have been Scottish or British? The divide and conquer technical is a jew lie to break us apart. Ethnically, culturally and linguistically we are the same.

>Dont unbalance the centrifuge
>Dont fuck with autoclaves unless you know what you are doing
>Dont fuck with ethers outside of extractors or around flames even if the closest flame is a bunsen 30ft away
>Dont electrocute yourself with shit like high voltage transformers such as those use in phorresis and magnetic shit
>Dont touch your face without thoroughly washing your hands
>dont be alone in a lab without somebody very close by knowing, whom is returning within 60 seconds

etc

I was involved in a semi serious lab accident years back involving flammables and a hot plate and confined space and whatever somebody was doing exploded in a fireball sending glassware and flames and equipment everywhere, i was about 60ft away.. When everybody panicked as shit was on fire, i managed to stay calm and remove the heat source, get an injured guy and everybody else to safety and calm everybody the fuck down..Whilst the automation kicked in. One of the technicians was after my dick from that day on.

This whole thing came about because of all the time the government said their hands were tied because of the EU when really they just didn't want to do it. People are loosing faith in the government and both the conservatives and labour are together in the remain camp. Eventually a 3rd party will rise and I hope it will be UKIP. But I seriously don't think the government will let us out of the EU.
>>

That's fair enough, but it's not something I could ever bring myself to honestly do.

Suppose there's precedent for it though, I remember the 2001 Census didn't have an option to say you identified as either English nor Welsh, just British - but it did have a box for Scottish and Northern Irish alongside it. It's fair to say that people conflate British for English or Welsh given that.

Finch: The problem is, Cameron knows us better than we know ourselves. That's why I went to LUTON, last night.

>Dominic: But that's outside quarantine.

Finch: I had to see it. There wasn't much left. But when I was there it was strange. I suddenly had this feeling that everything was connected. It's like I could see the whole thing, one long chain of events that stretched all the way back before the fall of the empire. I felt like I could see everything that happened, and everything that is going to happen. It was like a perfect pattern, laid out in front of me. And I realised we're all part of it, and all trapped by it.

>Dominic: So do you know what's gonna happen?

Finch: No, it was a feeling. But I can guess. With so much chaos, ISIS will do something stupid. And when they do, things will turn nasty. And then the EU will be forced to do the only thing he knows how to do. At which point, all Nigel needs to do is keep his word. And then...

The new Scottish/English/Welsh identities are a modern invention, there's been a long term decline of Britishness and British identity

In the days of the Empire being British meant you were a good Protestant, so it's dying out with that spirit of national identity. Every part of the UK loved the idea that they were dominating the world and owned India and America.

It was the fucking Scottish intellectuals that supported the term Briton in the first place, so there's a deep irony in modern left-wing Scotland

The results will be 51% leave, 49% stay. Then 6,000,000 postal votes for remain will reveal themselves, then the EU will federwlise at a much faster pace, as "they have secured the will of the british people"

Better yet anybody who questions the unusually large amount of postal votes will be classed as a conspiracy theorist. We saw this happen in Austria, when it looked like the far right would win.

Should lies in newspapers be allowed? Is that part of freedom of the press? Or are they doing their readers a disservice and should be fined when they spread non truths knowingly?

Not surprising surely, a lot of postal voters are oldies who can't get to the polling station, and they're bound to vote leave.

Postal votes are heavily favouring Leave

all the old fogies for once and the Asians have voted via post before Labour could deploy their usual tricks

All those students going to Glastonbury couldn't be bothered to get postal votes that's 250,000 remain votes down the drain :^)
>>
>>77299359
Lets hope their parkinsons doesn't make every single postal vote for leave invalid.

After the effect EU policies had on Northern Industries (Fishing/Farming/Shipyards) you'd expect a heavy turnout in favour of Leave.

Hopefully the "shocking" comment is referencing remain support getting utterly fisted.

This is obviously what will happen.
We will win the outright vote by a considerable amount, but the postal vote will massively inflate remain and will be unusually high.

>>77299428
there's not that much difference in demographics between postal and in person, so we'll probably leave

Daily reminder that Roger Scruton, the greatest living philosopher, supports Brexit.

>The greatest difference between being governed by a national
Parliament and being governed by a treaty is that, in the former case, law can
be made immediately, in response to every change in the situation of those
affected by it, and mistakes can be rectified before their full toll of
destruction has been reaped. In the nature of things treaties forbid this. They
exist to enforce a particular decision, made in particular circumstances, for a
particular goal. And even if they include provisions for amending and adjusting
as circumstances change, their immovable goal perpetuates the thinking from
which they arose, long after circumstances have made it irrelevant.

Like many fascists/National Socialists, he had to keep the serious red pills on the down low. The BUF varied in its policy on semites. The Jewish population of London is high, and a lot of English at the time were pro-Jew. It was difficult to keep people voting, not least because the East End Jews would organize massive street protests at Mosley's rallies and Motorcades. These were very disruptive, think Soros esque stuff today for an example.

I think in both UK and USA, a fascist revival is possible within the next 20 years, especially if whomever is in charge is smart.

Fascism by another name would be likely. Any belief which is sufficiently Orthopraxic and focuses on a practical address to the class struggle is a technical fascism.

The leader of the Nordic Belt has ~1 million supporters but spreading out to the rest of America may be difficult for us.
