https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/jun/14/uk-can-refuse-benefits-to-unemployed-eu-migrants-judges-rule

>“But there are no guarantees that this will last for ever, and future judgments may go against the UK. Conversely, a vote for Brexit on 23 June is likely to create its own legal quagmire, as the subsequent negotiations will have to resolve the free movement rights of EU citizens currently living in the UK and UK citizens currently living in other EU countries in a fair and consistent way,”

>“This is a victory for the UK and for common sense. It vindicates the prime minister’s stance, which has always been that free movement means freedom to work, not to claim benefits.

>“The commission may have attempted to dictate to Britain, but it has been put in its place by the EU’s own institutions.”

>Liberal Democrat MEP Catherine Bearder added: “This ruling is a victory for Britain, confirming we have a fair immigration system as well as having full access to the EU single market.

A REMINDER FOR THE 24TH:

Counts will get under way when polls close at 22:00 GMT Thursday, 23 June at 382 local centres around the UK. These local results will be declared as the counts are completed before being collated at 12 regional centres, which will also declare the totals for each side. There will be a rolling total so the time at which one side reaches the point of being mathematically unbeatable depends on how quickly the vote are counted and how close the results are running. It is a safe bet that from 4am onwards there should be pretty clear picture of which way the vote is going. A chief counting officer will announce the overall result at Manchester Town Hall.

BIG
BRITISH
SOVEREIGNTY
>>
First of all, I'm not actually Beglian. I'm Eastern European and I'm sitting here, wondering, what exactly do brits think Brexit is going to achieve?

Let's not beat around around the bush, you are voting to keep us out of your country right now. You're sacrificing the economic benefits of the EU, among some others, to keep us out. But...how the hell is that going to actually work?

We had no troubles coming into Britain back when restrictions were in order. All you had to do was find a relative who lived there and get set up to begin with. If you're going to migrate to the west it's clearly out of a wish to work hard, so we were fine with that. And that was BEFORE there were already hundreds of thousands of people from our communities established there. Now there's thousads of people (I know a dozen) who actually help you immigrate over there. They will continue to after Brexit, most of them have citizenship.

I've heard lots of arguments that the EU increased migration and maybe it did, but what actually increased migration was Britain standing sorta strong during the economic crisis. We come from largely sunny countries, with great weather, nature, food and women. When we had a choice, we migrated to Spain. We migrated to Italy. Now that they're all ded we choose Britain because we have to. And even if the EU enabled us to do that at the start, we won't suddenly stop.

Block the borders, get a point system and such you say.

Well, we have OK education and the majority of people get foreign education before going to work abroad. Or we migrate over to get your education. Plus we largely speak more than two languages - something no brit does. We're also willing to bust our ass to get the qualifications we need and we will have people who live there and know the point system perfectly to advise us.

So tell me, what exactly are you going to achieve with this and who lied to you that Brexit will fix your problem of too many Eastern European immigrants?

Leaving the EU means that we have no chance of being further absorbed into the neo-Marxist mess of a superstate that they are trying to build out of Europe. Do you honestly think that Eastern Euros are the biggest problem with EU membership?

Apart from our ability to control the mass immigration, they honestly do not come on the Radar.
>>
>>77240150

This is some funny shit.

They're now stepping things up a gear. 30bn gone from the FTSE today, pound losing vale rapidly against the dollar, this is a political response as much as it is an economic judgment. Big investors, banks, the financial capitalist investor class if you wanna use the Marxist jargon, are going to have to make a move.

Expect to see further losses this week and lots of breathless and urgent punditry talking about "the threat to homeowners" and "Lots of people have just lost their stock-market linked pension" to scare people into accepting the status quo.

If this fails you can then expect them to take it up to an even more hysterical pitch, talking about how this will "trigger the disintegration of Europe" and how "Putin is rubbing his hands with glee as the West tears itself apart" and other vague threats of war.

I'm not playing down the impact of Brexit btw, it will be a fucking mess, there's lot of UKIP voting homeowners in the south-east of England who don't fully appreciate what risks they're taking with their brittle wealth, but the attacks we're going to say are going to go way beyond that, so be ready for it.

It's crucially important that Corbyn keeps up his policy of reluctanct campaigning and refusing to work with the Tories and having seperate campaigns. Realistically, Cameron can't win round eurosceptic Tories now, so the establishment's only hope is that Corbyn will "put aside differences and appear with Cameron for the sake of national unity" and try and win around Labour voters to the cause. Usually a Labour leader would have no qualms with this but it's going to be very difficult to do with Corbyn because 1) they hate him, and visa versa 2) he's not beholden to them and owes them nothing and 3) he's actually a eurosceptic who wants to keep his nose out of this referendum as much as possible so that the Tories can own the consequences of it, one way or another.

Fact:

It has to be left to Boris and Gove and the ladies. Farage can do nothing but harm from now on.

" "Value" has no meaning other than in relationship to living beings. The value of a thing is always relative to a particular person, is completely personal and different in quantity for each living human — "market value" is a fiction, merely a rough guess at the average of personal values, all of which must be quantitatively different or trade would be impossible. … This very personal relationship, "value", has two factors for a human being: first, what he can do with a thing, its use to him… and second, what he must do to get it, its cost to him. There is an old song which asserts that "the best things in life are free". Not true! Utterly false! This was the tragic fallacy which brought on the decadence and collapse of the democracies of the twentieth century; those noble experiments failed because the people had been led to believe that they could simply vote for whatever they wanted… and get it, without toil, without sweat, without tears. … I fancy that the poet who wrote that song meant to imply that the best things in life must be purchased other than with money — which is true — just as the literal meaning of his words is false. The best things in life are beyond money; their price is agony and sweat and devotion . . . and the price demanded for the most precious of all things in life is life itself — ultimate cost for perfect value."

Reminder to volunteer lads.

>>77242597
I have no problem with Eastern Euros . . . I have quite a few latvian mates actually but the numbers of them are a bit excessive; And the ability to control EU migrants is held in Brussels - NOT in Britain . .. . this is where the problem lies.

Britain is not in control . . .and this needs to be addressed, we have tried it through EU channels and gotten nowhere, so Brexit is the only way we can deal with it.
>>
>>77242977

Remain was the status quo in the Scottish one.

The situation is reversed here.
If Out is polling 5pts or more ahead throughout the next 9 days, we can be confident.
If it's more 50/50, we might be screwed.
If Remain pulls ahead in the polls, we don't stand a chance.

There's a small chance that in the next week Erdogan basically tells the EU to fuck off and lets all the illegal immigrants cross into Europe unimpeded. That could seal it for Leave.

You imply all leave voters are the same though.

Also Eastern Europeans are the scum that is ruining this country much faster than Muslims. They are much more violent over here than the Muslims and although political Islam is a great danger, we have way more slavshit subhumans than Muslims, and they commit a vastly larger amount of crime. Anything that has a possibility of keeping you out will be good. We certainly won't have any more of you. Any immigrant not earning £35000 a year will be booted out under our new laws (which the unelected European Commission is currently challenging cause fuck what our democratic society wants) and when we leave and implement them despite Brussels we can start booting out subhuman slavic filth left right and centre.

I think it's a bit more complicated than that. Oxford town (as opposed to the uni area in central) is bitter as fuck about the way things have gone and definitely fertile ground for leave support. Definitely the Uni is pretty much a lost cause; either lefties or neocons; but there are still a few who are on board for leave (speaking as one).

Daniel Hannan is also giving a LATER talk in the Blue Boar lecture hall in central Oxford

You either believe the FUD from the remain campaign or you have shit coloured skin. Which is it?

>You're trying to make it sound as if people want to leave because of Eastern Europeans, that's an oversimplification at best and just wrong at worst.

Lad, can you please take a second, calm down and realize I am literally addressing only those few people who are not terribly intelligent and are swayed ONLY by this argument?

Not you.

Not Britain.

Not the majority of people

Probably not even a lot of people.

Just those, for whom the argument of migration is the driving force for their actual vote.

>I hope you're not seriously trying to tell me that leaving a system in which we literally have no control over which EU migrants come here will have little effect on which EU migrants come here. Will it be perfect in the even of Brexit? Of course not, but as I said in my first post: any control is better than literally none.

Oh, no, I agree more control is better than no control. So, um, why vote to leave, which is pretty much the next level of "no control" instead of lead the overwhelming drive towards strict EU migration control? Germany can withstand Poland, Hungary, Italy and such, but if the UK joins we WILL have solid migration control.

So why not go for that, if that's what you want?

Those immigrants ARE debilitating the country, is short term economic "stability" worth giving up our traditions, culture and race?
>>

I'm not sure I agree with you about the Eastern Euros Taffybro.

Brexit is far more than a few Poles getting pissed up and lighting BBQ's.

Based OJ supported Leave for a short period, IIRC (when the Greeks voted to reject the EU bailout plan, but got it anyway, IIRC).

We want them to threaten us, we really are not scared.

I don't think people quite understand this? I don't think they truly get our mentality. The more they threaten, the more they attack, the more we will resist.

It's part of our inbred genetics. It's how we're wired in our heads.

We don't care about being punished by them, let them. We will punish them back.

The EU grew to fast without proper measures. It should have contained the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark.

After that other countries could join as long as they brought their countries up to a standard of these countries with financial responsibility and human/civil rights. This EU could have helped invest in such countries to give them a good chance, but they should not have been given instant EU membership.

Through these measures a strong EU could have been developed and properly managed. Right now we have a festering pile of degeneracy.

Prove me wrong.
>>
>>77243330
That just isn't true now is it? Yes we're likely to experience a short downturn of the economy, but it's worth it.

The EU is undemocratic and it's a failed experiment -- we should get out while we still have the option. Or would you rather let Brussels have the final say in how our country is run, and watch our country fade into obscurity as Russia+China+Asia soar ahead of us?

Yes, that was my mistake, that line. Not all are like that, I admit, but some are.

>Also Eastern Europeans are the scum

Sigh...

>booting out subhuman slavic filth left right and centre.

But you're not adressing the fact that the lot of us won't really have any major restrictions on actually coming over even after you leave?

And that 35k law sounds reasonable, but what is that, 3k pounds a month? Wouldn't that massively shit on your economy, considering you'd be chasing out even the qualified workers that contribute to it?

Will Junker's visit be sucessful or will it backfire hugely?
>>
>>77243146
>>77243037
Yeah, but I'm worried what will happen within the EU if Brexit happens. Britain is one of the biggest opponents against greater federalization and integration. It just feels like Juncker and his pack will want to accelerate the process.

Don't get me wrong, you absolutely have to get out. But there will be an element of chaos to it, and I'm wondering how the EU elite will respond.

Perhaps they will give up their dream of a Europe without nations but it doesn't sound likely.

Good luck guys. Don't stay home on the couch when it's time to vote.

Then what's your point? That a tiny minority of people are voting because they don't like Eastern Europeans? Who gives a shit. That's a tiny issue out of many for 99% of Leave voters. Fuck off you low grade bank clerk.

So if the control is in Brussels and Brussels is falling apart and has no legitimacy and only the fact that Germany is stronger than the rest is keeping it intact, why not just take over Brussels and change it there?
