addict (opiates) kills 40 year old Austrian girlfriend after girlfriend secretly filmed them while having anal sex and distributed the video among friends. The Tunisian national was very upset because "anal sex is haram among Muslims". He then killed his girlfriend, herself a drug addict, with a blow to the neck with a large knife, after trying to ram that knife into his own chest - apparently because the girlfriend tried to stop him from killing himself.
The girlfriend had made and shared the anal sex video because she was afraid the Tunisian was about to end their relationship. During the night of the murder, she talked about the video over and over until, under the influence of drugs, he killed her instead.
The man was sentenced to 20 years in prison, despite complaining about various voices in his head. The court determined that the voices did not say anything about his mental state, but were related to years of opiate misuse.
