The police, while it was still an active shooter situation, would have cordoned off a huge area, so casualties would be moved out of the range of the shooter. Now, why was the camera man there if casualties weren't allowed to be there, only to see casualties be moved back towards the club? Triage. The overwhelmed EMS would have to take people they thought were more likely to need imminent medical care, so the casualties were likely told to stay put in the safe zone, the shooter was dealt with, and then the second or third wave of medical transportation came, and their overzealous friends and companions, jacked up on adrenaline, moved them to the oncoming transport.

Same thing with this nightclub. Even with a naked man sucking his own dick on stage, you always record to keep track of several things. One is your staff stealing drinks or food. The next is identifying staff that let in underage, which get's your business closed for good in my state. Another reason is to set up cameras for loss prevention or theft prevention. Finally you do it for liability reasons, for example to prove your staff was not inciting violence if a fight breaks out in the club.
You will never know the truth without that video. Once people in CT started asking for evidence about the shooting they decided to demolish the school and destroy their records, because of "muh feels".

They never even produced evidence that someone had died, shooter's name was supposedly his brother's previous name that he changed, the state criminalized releasing death certificates shortly after, most of the parents involved were either political activists or professional actors, DNA on the gun did not indicate that Lanza was involved, school was abandoned for years except for the classrooms that were involved (the school was demolished shortly after), police were on camera investigating the wrong house, dashcam footage given by police did not match the transcript provided with it (no one appeared on camera, the footage showed nothing at all), parents on camera laughing and joking seconds before their interviews.
It's not like there was doctored evidence for Sandy Hook. There was just none at all other than word of mouth. It's not like 9/11 where there is supposedly a grand conspiracy and real people and property were destroyed. No one can locate any evidence to suggest that anything happened at Sandy Hook.
Some of the evidence against Sandy Hook is fun though, like the "Teaching children to cope with Sandy Hook" handbook that was published on some school's website a couple of days before the shooting.

So this guy was interviewed by the FBI several times, and then legally purchased firearms subjecting him to background checks. Surely the algorithms they have in place makes connections and would recognize a Muslim who had already been investigated before (meaning he had already been on lists and had a data record of some significance). There are only so many people the FBI interviews for possible connections to terrorist organizations and possible violent individuals. There are millions of employees of the U.S.'s various domestic surveillance agencies. And it doesn't even take employees actively monitoring threats all the time because it's all based around algorithms and meta data and mass digital surveillance.
And at any time upon purchasing the guns in the last few days, the shooter certainly rose red flags on mass surveillance computer programs. At which point all of his computer, phone, etc. activity could be decided to be monitored. It wouldn't even have to be monitored by a person still. An investigation and analysis of all his digital activity which would be easily accessible and could be performed autonomously by a computer once again noting any searches, postings, purchases, etc. that would deem him a potential threat worth a person looking at.
These things are pretty easy to prevent. Sometimes they slip by unintentionally and are exploited. Sometimes they are allowed to slip by. Sometimes terrorist attacks are carried out by its own government killing its own people.
I think it's important to focus on exposing the nefarious exploitation and manipulative use of the attack by the government to push their agenda as well as the validity of the supposed facts surrounding the event.
