I've been thinking about this recently, and I think its something of an overarching idea.
Im fairly conservative, and traditional to a degree. I believe politics should be run by a firm right wing party but I want entertainment to come from liberals.
I think a lot of posters here need to remember what happens if you remove all the lefties from society. Sure they shouldnt have too much power but they tend to offer more lighthearted entertainment.
