Is the wolf really capable of becoming man's best friend again. Or did a separate lineage diverge years ago?
>>76704485
Maybe. Would be a waste of time when we already have dogs imo
We are going to make wolves great again and Canada is going to pay for it!
They share the same family structure as dogs, horses and humans.
so yes its possible
>>76704485
Yes, if your in a free state you can have one
Pure wolfs are afraid of humans and are really hard to socialize. But crossbreeds are fine

wolfs evolved into bears eventually thats how strong wolfs can be

I have a romantic idea of them though. I feel ...
The Wolf doesn't give a shit about us. I respect that about them. You ever seen them in their eyes? It's like they are almost laughing at us saying "You wish." Coolest creature ever. Too cool for domestication and facebook.

The wolves didn't change, man changed. Long ago there was something relate-able between the two, It was easy for us to understand each other. Nowadays most people can't comprehend a wild animals thought process. No one even tries putting themselves in another animals shoes, let alone even another persons shoes anymore.

The fucker on the pic is around 20% wolf

Don't think that since dogs evolved from wolves, that wolves today are the same ones dogs evolved from. Old wolves evolved into two separate things, modern wolves and modern dogs.
Luther.. wolf hybrid.
Hard, hard work.
>>76704485
Yes, they're called dogs.
Get fucked furry
>>76704485
Wolves are savage beasts and we can never befriend them
>>76704485
You could start the domestication process over, selectively breeding for tameness....
the result is you get dogs again. Maybe different breeds, but you get dogs.
Russians did an experiment with foxes, selecting for tameness. Within 50 years they had domesticated foxes that looked pretty much like dogs, with floppy ears and more juvenille looking traits.
Domestication changes animals.
But as for wild wolves as they are naturally being man's best friend? No.

this man knows whats up

based on your comment I thought I was gonna see her get mauled
>>76709509
Wolves wagging their tales is so cute, too bad it isn't a natural behavior for them.
You can. But if you have more then one, you must be prepared to kick the fuck out of them at all times.
Source: A biker named bear who had wolves, and wore a fish boinker every time he went in the enclosure.
He didn't buy his wolves, so he probably knew what he was talking about...
Thinly veiled furfag thread. Yiff in hell.
>>76712440
it can be, I mean those behaviors come out of a wolve's genome, they're just not expressed as much and a wolf with that many juvenile traits surviving to adulthood and breeding in the wild just isn't as likely.
>>76712440
also foxes do it too.
>>76704485
are you implying wolves ever were man's best friend? you furries are fucking retarded.
>>76704485
Wolf pups socialize with humans just fine, not shit skins obviously but so long as you don't smell like another dog or have one nearby you're fine.
Hell wild wolf attacks only occur if you have a domesticated dog with you for the most part.

domestication didn't happen overnight
Is the nigger really capable of becoming man's best friend again. Or did a separate lineage diverge years ago?
WE WUZ BAERS n SHIEET
Some genetic evidence shows the domestic dog may have been domesticated from a different subspecies/specie that preyed upon megafuana

Are big sheepdogs stronger than wolves?
For example the bulgarian shepherd is said to kill wolves that attack the heard.

Irish Wolfhound > Wolves
Bred to hunt and kill wolves and giant Irish elk solo.
>>76713340
last I heard they were seriously expensive and only in one place in Russia
>>76713462
Lots of dog breeds would destroy a wolf 1v1 without much trouble at all, it's the fact that they're usually in packs that changes thing
