Let's just be honest, is rape really that bad?
Humans have been raping since the dawn of man. The long term effects of rape are a slight pain and maybe a pregnancy which can be aborted nowadays. The only reason the media sensationalizes the "extremely detrimental effects of rape" is so people can be outraged at nothing. Most of the time, the "victim" just walks away and moves on from a rape. Should these people have to spend 20 years in jail for a 20 minute unpleasantry?
