I used to practice the meditation before I became a Bible believer.
Its a process of eliminating desires of this world and emptying yourself out.
The only problem was the only thing left is a shell with no desires, and no direction. Having the Holy Spirit in my life changed this completely and of course the Bible says to empty yourself out and disconnect from this world as well but so God can fill more of your life.
