Should the US have a national gun registry? What are the pros and cons?
Cons: criminals wouldn't register

You can just completely avoid all of them.

This, also if only law-abiding people register, what does it gain besides a way for the gov to track who owns what?
2/10 bait, made me reply.

They do, its called the draft.
Pros:
Makes soccer moms and liberal faggots feel "safe".
Cons:
Gov will eventually confiscate your guns.
Pros - nothing
Cons - everything

Yes, I think the government should attempt to force mass registration of all existing firearms. Double time, march!
I'll register my guns when journalists have to register. After all, if a registry is innocuous and in no way infringes upon rights then I expect the very people pushing that narrative to put their money where their mouth is.

Yeah dude haha good suggestion :^)

I'll assume that a predicate of this discussion is a federal gun registry being made legal in the first place (it's currently illegal).
I don't see what good it would do, honestly. Only a minority would register currently-owned firearms, so that essentially leaves it as a registry for all legal purchases after a certain date. There might be small benefit in triangulating serial straw purchasers who then resell, but that's all we'd get out of it.
No.

Sweden ? Do they have a ban on gun ownership ?
>>76614787
this works with all forms of gun control

Fuck no they don't. They have regulations, but they also have a shit ton of guns. It's going to be very interesting when all of the second and third gen muhameds start tooling up.

I'm sure EBT and welfare are effectively that.
