Honestly, the only issue that I have with Harper was his reliance on oil to keep the economy up (but it worked and kept us relatively stable during the 2008 recession, comparatively speaking). I could honestly care less about TPP, because it's honestly just a token agreement for globalization. It's not like our markets aren't already flooded with cheap Asian merchandise, and non-service/white collar jobs have been leaving NA for decades. Opening Canadian markets helps our economy in the long run (maybe that's why Trudeau has been stalling on ratifying it?), because it's not like we have the clout to be protectionist.
