Our membership of the EU and the Common Market rests on the continued assent of the British Parliament and therefore ultimately will rest on the will of the British people.

Even if this current referendum were to be defeated by the Remainers, so long as there are citizens who do not wish to be part of the EU and the Market, and that there are representatives whom they elect who are also of that opinion, we may yet leave.

FAO Boeranon.

The European Union is the purest form of the career politician concept.

While many politicians are self-interested, their ambitions are kept in check by the electoral system; they have to please enough people.

The EU is a sham democracy where the highest level of control is unelected by the plebs, and the parliament essentially a façade. The only accountability is so abstract that it is essentially non-existent - if an MEP from Romania does something against the interest of the French people, what can they even do?

You have politicians making decisions for countries that they have no stake in at all. You have politicians bought off with private shopping malls, expenses, a fat salary, and all the free lunches with multi-nationals you could ask for. I'm sure many would be satisfied with an Brussels economic island in the middle of wasteland Europe - walls for them, but not for anyone else.

Their aim is to destroy economies and industries, it is to use third worlders as a biological weapon and voter base, and it is to strip all freedom and identity from the individual. These aren't mistakes in policy, but an intentional effort to undermine sovereign states in their pursuit of control. The end goal of the EU is a faceless, artificial nation with no culture, no principles, and no productive capacity, that is totally dependent of whichever corporation pays them the most.

The EU is the enemy of everyone not personally in on the deal and it is only going to get worse. Outside the EU, there may be good times, or there may be bad times, but things can change. The EU is impossible to change by design.

Brexit is possibly the last chance we have to get out of this and set the example to all nations before it is too late. The will try to subvert the vote, but they don't yet have enough power to directly contest a nation. No wonder an EU army is next on the agenda.

Thanks for the response.
Can I go through this one point at a time? It should get the message out clearly.

- I think the corruption of politicians is widespread. In the uk you had the expenses thing, and all those junior ministers selling access to various folks in exchange for money.
- Its so widespread that I heard that nigel is a pretty big spender of his eu parliamentarians dosh.
- I am trying to understand why an MEP from Romania would want to do something that might hurt british people. Can you give me an example of what he might do? It would seem that if properly informed, you could advise your MEP to be on the lookout for this n that when you elect him/her.
I am not aware that the eu is destroying industries unless they are a millstone on the necks of taxpayers. Usually, state funded industries have no interest in reforming or modernising. Its industries like that that caused the greece thing.
The eu can definitely be an arm which the globalist players will use to fuck the people. By the same token the people can use it as an arm to fuck the globalists with. Workers rights, minimum pay, cross eu labour and trade unions for instance. Imagine workers in poland refuse to work in a factory that some globalist tries to move there from the midlands. The eu is just a framework. it will work for you if you work it.
>>
>>76531482

That looks like shit
>>
>>76530601
>“I couldn't have been a street performer without the EU,” he said to an audience including the likes of Suranne Jones, Martin Freeman and Lenny Henry. “I couldn't have done transgender marathons without it either."
>“I love humanity; I find people interesting,” he went on. “I believe in giving people a fair life and we must start with the contingents. You can't go forwards by going backwards and that's why I'm touring in the French language and in German.”
How is this person being put on a political stage instead of an insane asylum?
>>
>>76530477
What gets me is that everyone just lets the massive graft and corruption of the EU slide. The institutions are crooked as the day is long, rife with graft, practically every non-Anglo/German eurocrat is on the take. The books are so cooked that no auditing firm has been willing to certify them free of fraud and "material error".

How anyone could justify sending billions of pounds of taxpayer money to these clowns year after year is beyond me. The British Civil Service has its problems, but corruption isn't one of them.

>I think the corruption of politicians is widespread. In the uk you had the expenses thing, and all those junior ministers selling access to various folks in exchange for money.

Absolutely, but the EU is on another scale. Many of them are paid more than the David Cameron. As I said, national politicians are far more accountable, hence why we could uncover the expenses scandal.

>Its so widespread that I heard that nigel is a pretty big spender of his eu parliamentarians dosh.

Using it in the attempt to put himself out of a job.

>I am trying to understand why an MEP from Romania would want to do something that might hurt british people. Can you give me an example of what he might do? It would seem that if properly informed, you could advise your MEP to be on the lookout for this n that when you elect him/her.

What is the MEP going to do? Veto it and get overturned again? The interests of another EU country, especially the other side of the continent are likely to be in opposition to our own.

>I am not aware that the eu is destroying industries unless they are a millstone on the necks of taxpayers

They gave British fishing waters to the continent and pay for British fishing boats to be destroyed. Their endless frivolous regulation suppresses small and medium sized business to prevent them becoming local competitors to the EU's favoured investor.

>Workers rights, minimum pay, cross eu labour and trade unions for instance

Our rights from our own parliament exceed these the EU give us. By far, in some cases. Free movement of labour works against the countries with higher standards of living, as Britons don't go to Poland to provide unskilled labour. It's very asymmetric.

>The eu is just a framework. it will work for you if you work it.

It's a framework with its own legislative control. If the EU doesn't work how they want it to, they'll make it work how they want it to.

- You're absolutely right, but as Nigel Farage said, compared to the expenses MEPs recieve, the MP expenses scandal was miniscule in comparison and that the British public would be galled if it knew the true extent.
- MEPs have next to no power compared to the Commission. Anyone who thinks that they do seriously misunderstands how the EU operates. It is fundamentally undemocratic.
- That's just the thing, not many are. The EU isn't destroying industries, it's systematically annihilating them. It afffects big businesses like banks and large multinationals less but if a small business wishes to start up in certain sectors, they are strangled with red tape from the EU legislation and directives.

One last point, the EU no longer pushes for treaty change as they know this must result in national referendums. Therefore, any and all further laws passed down from Brussels will come in the form of directives or something like that. Basically it means a country simply cannot stop new laws taking effect. MEPs can't even repeal laws.

Farage has been completely open about spending his EU expenses on encouraging people to vote leave. He got asked about it when he was on a panel somewhere, another anon might have a link but I can't remember it.

The UK operates differently from many European countries and as such the interests of the UK and the wider EU can conflict.
For example UK ports are managed very differently from ports in other countries in the EU. The majority of UK MEPs rejected proposed port legislation whilst the European Parliament as a whole supported it, resulting in UK ports having legislation forced on them that neither UK MEPs or port authorities themselves approved of.

The EU framework is very, very difficult for the UK to work with due to the different needs of the UK versus continental European countries.

>Poll reveals possible Brexit boost after Nigel Farage proved more convincing than Cameron

Prime Minister David Cameron and Nigel Farage each gave impassioned pleas to the nation during the ITV debate as the clock counted down towards the deadline for voter registration.

And according to one poll, the Ukip leader was a clear winner.

The Times Red Box reactions registered hundreds the reactions of 2,500 people as Cameron and Farage were each given 30 minutes to talk and answer audience questions.

An automatically selected sample of 2,500 people showed 80 per cent were in favour of a Brexit ahead of the debate - and Cameron was largely unable to sway them.

the cost per taxpayer is considerably smaller than that of national parliaments.
the cost per taxpayer is considerably smaller than that of national parliaments.
This represents a pay-cut for MEPs from some member states (e.g. Italy, Germany, and Austria), a rise for others (particularly the low-paid eastern European Members) and status quo for those from the United Kingdom (depending on the euro-pound exchange rate).

>They gave British fishing waters to the continent

British boats have free access to eu waters for both fishing and the landing of catches. The eu stopped everyones fishing boats from discarding undersized & 'waste' fish, thereby ensuring that greedy fishing industry interests didn't rape the sea in the inteests of their pockets while depriving future people of their fishing stocks.
The rights your parliament gave you do not exceed the requirements of the eu workers rights policies. Thats just a meme. Somebody posted a good rebuttle to that meme.
You are a voter in the eu, they cannot do anything if you are awake and send mep's that are awake and have your interests at heart. Most people are asleep and prefer to be asleep, i think, which means a framework like the eu will never protect them from the globalists. An eu framework for the people is a kek generator of note.

It's a simple situation of supply and demand. More demand than supply and house prices go up!

Only two ways to combat this, reduce the demand, one way is to reduce immigration (Brexit) or increase the supply by promoting more building through potential funding increases for housing (more funds available after Brexit could pay for this, along with a whole host of other things)

They're relying on the public not knowing we're one of the largest consumer bases in the world.

There is no possible way the world economy is going to leave a gaping hole in the market by not trading with us.

It also relies on them not realising that we have no control within the EU at all, and the scraps Cameron won are a token gesture that fall far short of his demands and can be take away at any time.

I pointed this out in the last thread but you ignored it.

Most of the problems regarding overpopulation and lack of infrastructure are in inner cities where there is no space to build any further. Not so much for lack of housing but certainly for schools, hospitals etc. Inner cities need the infrastructure but there's no room for them to expand as they're surrounded by suburbs.

Regarding housing most of the people who need housing are again in poorer parts of the country where space is limited.
Your example of Scotland also indicates another problem, much of Scotland is rural as fuck and undesirable for immigrants who want jobs or want to live in cities, you could build houses in rural Scotland but unless you built whole villages or towns at a time with proper infrastructure the only people who would buy them are people who want holiday homes or people who want to retire to the countryside.

Most of the issues regarding lack of infrastructure predominantly affect already developed cities and people in inner cities who won't benefit from houses in suburbs they can't afford or schools and hospitals a 30 minute drive out of town

I'm fucked m8s

Police came to see me this morning. Had a warrant to search my house. Said possession and distribution of indecent images of children had been linked to my IP address. They checked all the laptops and computers in my house and took away my laptop to be checked further, which implies they have reason to believe something is up with it. My mum and dad were in the house as well. So fucking embarrassing.

I don't know what I've done. They told me one specific image had been uploaded from my computer to 4chan sometime in February. I can't remember anything along those lines. Obviously CP on the chans gets banned pretty quickly. I do have a porn folder on both my computer and my laptop, and I thought maybe it was on of those pictures, maybe of a girl you might consider jailbait. But they returned my computer within a few hours and said it was fine, so I can only imagine it's something much more serious.

I have no idea what I've done as I simply can't remember. If I have done something, it must something like seeing CP on 4chan, downloading and then re-posting it again on 4chan. Why I would do this I don't know. Shock value I guess, or perhaps to get banned. Fuck and even if I had done something retarded like that there's no explanation or innocence in it. It's not like it counts as an excuse. If that's what I've done, obviously I would have deleted the image right afterwards, although I suppose they have ways to retreive data from hard drives, even if it was 4 months ago.

Anyway, GG lads. I'm fucked. Looks like one less vote to leave the EU.

If it was 4 months ago, it's very unlikely they will find it on your hard drive. Unless your hard drive was basically empty, it will have almost certainly be written over, and despite what some /g/ fags say, a single pass generally renders data impossible to recover, and I imagine there will have been multiple passes. If your hard drive is close to full I would say it's impossible they'll find it.

Yeah. But thats cause you have suffered a 'property boom' and live on top of each other as a result. Still you got to have new stuff, and you need someone to pay for it all.
>>
>>76535104
How would we get immigrants to pay for it? Some sort of immigration tax which the EU would oppose? It's not just immigrants who need new houses, people who were born here and have family here for generations need new homes as well.

>Get the EU to fund it

How? How does one do this when the people we would need to appeal to are completely unelected? How do we do this when the EU determines what we spend EU money on? How do we do this when other countries with problems with immigration don't do the same thing? The Commission would turn and question why we need EU money and France, Germany, Sweden etc do not.

In order to get the EU to allow us to spend EU funding on something as massive as building a new town we'd need the support of other countries, something which we would by no means obtain.

Are you really having trouble with this or just looking for someone to snap so you can go LOL Y MAD THO? It's been explained to you about a dozen times that even if the current problems are due to urban overcrowding the fact remains that once we've ruined our countryside to accommodate them they'll still keep pouring in. There is no end to it in sight.
>>
>>76535404
Why not say, that in exchange for all the migrants we need to invest in this nhs thing and our other stuff? i suspect because in the 'long term the interests that be' in britain want to privatise the nhs, so spending any money on it would just entrench it. But there is no reason why you could not through your meps approach the eu for upgrade of your infrastructure. Have you spoken to your MEP about it?

Bro, they used the time that they 'searched' your computer to virus you up, or emplace snooping harware. My advice would be to take whatever info you can from the machine and then dump it at a carboot sale. Wipe the drive do whatever, but get rid of the machine. If snowden taught us anything its that snooping hardware is almost invisible and impossible to fix. Get rid of it.
