Read some Frankfurt school stuff like Adorno/Horkheimer and you will begin to understand how the capitalization over the ability to repeat sound/ideas is what catapulted them into extreme power.

All you need to begin doing this is three words

I read a lot of Mearsheimer (and Walt) as part of my degree and was surprised to see he wrote a book about that.
