Honestly a Trump v. Bernie election would be the only way democrats had a chance this cycle. They want to force Hillary in and screw Bernie, but Trump will wipe the floor with Hillary.

60% of whites
30% of Hispanics
30% of Blacks
Those numbers alone guarantee a victory but it gets more interesting.
If Bernie loses the nom, 30% of his base are voting Trump. Hillary just lost another 3 million voters to Trump the other day.

It's more like chopping up a Rolls Royce and a Ford 150 and trying to make a hybrid, it just doesn't work. Their policies are not the same at all, where Trump is for a wall and deporting all illegals, Sanders scoffs at the idea and wants amnesty for all. Their abortion, gun rights and economic views are all different. The only place they really agree is being non interventionists, and against free trade. I would be mad at Trump if he took Sanders as VP just for the votes. As they saying goes, the VP is only a gunshot away from president.
