I'd consider myself an agnostic atheist, but I can see religion for what it is and it definitely has it's uses. It pulled us out of tens of thousands of years of barbarity and gave common people common ground with common goals.
Religion (Christianity most of all) has solidified the nuclear family, traditional values and love. It's why we're nations today. You can be an agnostic or even an atheist for that matter and uphold these values, but for the most part these New-Atheists only exist to destroy religion for their own perceived oppression.
