I'm 31 now, I grew up on 19th street in Melrose Park from about 3 to 10 before we moved out. I went to Stevenson for kindergarden+ and the preschool next to Bolger park before that.
Growing up I remember it being mostly white/mixed neighborhood and very quiet. Looking at google street view now is terrifying. What the hell happened?
I'm so glad my family moved away now. Any other Chicago anons know what the general ethnic makeup is now?
