It's real, they rented a government owned house and were told to leave.
The rental contract was temporary (6 months) and is now ending.
The entire ordeal is illegal though, because they have to be warned in advance if they are going to be thrown out.

The article says they had a short-term lease of six months. The house belongs to the government, so they simply said they won't renew the lease because incoming shitskins "need" the house.

Sweden's situation I can kind of understand, since the guy didn't enter into a written agreement but put his trust into whatever rental company he was dealing with to not fuck him over.
Germany's reason is that they simply want to put 25 "refugees" in the home, and there is no other standing legal reason as to why. There is no mention of nonpayment issues, nothing of that sort.
In fact, the article clearly states he renovated the house and that they were living there for about 3 years. Now they're suddenly getting kicked out just because the city wants to put refugees in.

Even with temporary rent contracts if you don't have renewed rent contract on that flat, it's expected that rental company will offer it to current occupants before offering new ones.
