If you are serious, keep in mind you cannot get into Russian military if you don't know Russian.
Current conditions for foreigners to be accepted into military:
1. Knows Russian language (should be documentally prooved, either passing state-certified test or proof of graduating school which had russian as subject)
2. Wasn't convicted for crimes in the past
3. Has appropriate military training
4. Has valid papers for staying in Russia (I think tourist visa will not work, you need "registration")
5. Age is from 18 to 30
6. Is healthy and fit
7. Contract term is fixed to be 5 years for foreigners

Any certified testing will do, for example there's TORFL (you have to pass at least Basic).

Depends for what position you are applying. If you expect to get sergeant rank in artillery, you have to know russian artillery systems. If you are applying for private in motorized infantry, there are no requirements.
In general, for plenty of positions any kind of training/education will work, I have military occupational specialty of "computer operator; code 600945A" but didn't serve even a day, they just used my university diploma (CompSci/InfoSec Master degree + postgrad) as basis for assigning this specialty.
