Almost every person I know today has this same damn moto: "It's muh life i want to fulfill MY dreams i can neither bother to have kids (because they'll just be a burden for ME) nor will i bother to contibute to anyone else but MYSELF, my only reason for living is ME ME ME because heh we only have a certain amount of time to live don't we, I don't want to spend my life doing anything else but constantly trying to make MY life more comfortable."
I honestly find this kind of people already dead. They'll leave no trace behind them whatsoever, they won't have the will to contribute to anything a bit longlasting, to something bigger and more important than them, they ARE already dead. What difference would it play on the future if they were to dissapear? N o n e.
The last man has become the norm.

Dunbar's Number.

Humans aren't designed for living in 'communities' of millions. It's against our nature and screwing everyone up as a result.

I don't get this obsession with being remembered. Why do you have such a hardon for stuff like that? If you don't do it someone will and everyone will forget it eventually.

My point was that the current man doesn't wish for acheiving anything which doesn't immediatly serve him, he doesn't have emotions for anything that doesn't directly affect him and his comfortability, he doesn't have the wish to sacrifice himself for something mightier and everlasting.
And if you find these things to be wrong, then thank you for prooving my point, good day.
>>
>>75955403
I've never said that you should do it for the goal of being remembered (you, not the deed), becaue then the deed won't mean nothhing since you'll be doing it for your own ego again.

I think it's good to have kids, but when you get down to it, it's all masturbation either way you go.

I find absolutely nothing wrong with this, in fact I find it a breath of fresh air. Let's do away with the idea of a disposable man, no man should ever serve as a sacrifice.

First and foremost, to have offspring. That way your genes are secured to continue it's flow forever (that is of course if you raise your children in such a way that they to recognize the importance of this)

It's that attitude that's stopped me being happy honestly. The only time I'm happy and content is when other people give me things to do.

Yes, I can see how better off the world is since this attitude came in place...

you're right back to sticks and stones, mudhuts. mud baths, poo in loo and trading shit in hopes that a local will take your deer meat for 1 sheep just so you can rape a girl to spread your shitty genetics, oh wait you can do that now, go ahead faggot.

At the moment I'm still finishing off my studies. My current contributions are little, but I consider every sort of contribution to be valuable, since the will is that which matters the most. These deeds do not need to be of some gruesome proportions, doing something good for a fellow someone is still a contribution, and a stomp over your sinful ego. Because in the end, all of these serve to the everlasting God.

Comfortability ≠ good
Again you're just proving my point.
So what good does it bring if we have an Earth full of ants, who's only goal in life is to stay alive and nothing else besides that? Those are called parasites

It's funny because it's a known fact that our education program is EXTREMELY hard, kek.

Ever since anatomically modern humans.emerged (est. 200,000 years ago) they have been hunters and gatherers it was only in the past 400 years Science prospered do you understand? The average human could care less about becoming galaxy conquerors or sustained-until-i-feel-so-old-i-want-to-throw-up beings.
They want a comfortable life, as is tradition. Humans today like you who babble on about greater purpose count as oddballs in the eyes of history, godfag dumb serb.

Your genes will already be gone in the next 200 years. why even care about genes? basically means nothing when you dead, but hey, everybody have a different way of life. You're no different from them. But if makes you happy go for it.

As the nation declines in power and
wealth, a universal pessimism gradually
pervades the people, and itself hastens the
decline. There is nothing succeeds like
success, and, in the Ages of Conquest and
Commerce, the nation was carried
triumphantly onwards on the wave of its own
self-confidence. Republican Rome was
repeatedly on the verge of extinction—in 390
B.C. when the Gauls sacked the city and in
216 B.C. after the Battle of Cannae. But no
disasters could shake the resolution of the
early Romans. Yet, in the later stages of
Roman decline, the whole empire was deeply
pessimistic, thereby sapping its own
resolution.

Frivolity is the frequent companion of
pessimism. Let us eat, drink and be merry,
for tomorrow we die. The resemblance
between various declining nations in this
respect is truly surprising. The Roman mob,
we have seen, demanded free meals and
public games. Gladiatorial shows, chariot
races and athletic events were their passion.
In the Byzantine Empire the rivalries of the
Greens and the Blues in the hippodrome
attained the importance of a major crisis.
Judging by the time and space allotted to
them in the Press and television, football and
baseball are the activities which today chiefly
interest the public in Britain and the United
States respectively.

The heroes of declining nations are always
the same—the athlete, the singer or the
actor. The word ‘celebrity’ today is used to
designate a comedian or a football player,
not a statesman, a general, or a literary
genius.
