The biggest problem with that quote for traditionalism is that yeah, the entire point of the constitution was in pursuit of a hypothetical ideal. This itself actually resolves the problem of the problem that is perceived here as the constitution is made for no nation; it is made for the nation which it presides over. It is the FOUNDING of a nation, made to shape a group's, or several groups', ideals and values to itself in order to found the very nation that will be beholden to its laws.
There is literally nothing wrong with the French/American constitutions. We know this now, today, because we've seen it in action over the past couple hundred years.

Sounds like she is already most of the way there. Libertarians with brains figure out sooner or later that their ideology has one fatal flaw, it requires everyone else to "play nice and obey the rules".
