Sure. Real capitalism usually rewards hard work and it efficiently allocates wants (discretionary resources)
Crony capitalism punishes hard work by rewarding cronies. It prevents efficient resource allocation and cause shortages/ It causes income inequality and wealth concentration which are parasitic to the economy.
Liberals and Conservatives generally support capitalism, but they both abhor predatory crony capitalism.

You do realize that in the 5 billion years Earth has been around that there have been innumerable cataclysmic environmental events such as tectonic late shift movements, climate changes, magnetic polar shifts, mega tsunamis, all types of natural disasters, volcanic disasters that have engulfed the Earth's atmosphere with ash, massive extinctions of 99% of all animals that have ever existed, If you seriously think that this is going to do any harm to the Earth then you are an idiot.
