It's that they are so egocentric. They think the world should perfectly understand them, their will and hope, like it's due to them because society should perfectly fit them only cause they exist.

The formers aren't subtle, they are made clearest as possible with everything the animal got to communicate. It's even said "defensive, threatening, warning" if you removed that, it doesn't make sense and you could try to hug the bear. If they could speak, they would simply tell us to fuck off.
