Forget about it. Not gonna happen any time soon. Would probably require to harness all of the energy of multiple solar systems to make it work. We have to get there first.
First we need a MASSIVE industrial effort here on earth to get exploitation and manufacturing bases in outer space. Then things can be built in orbit at more reasonable cost. Dangerous nuclear propulsion methods could also be used without risk of polluting the earth.
But it'll take a while before we can even reach a significant fraction of the speed of light. Colonizing other star systems will probably require embryo ships.
It's a huge industrial endeavor, there's no way around it.

We can take advantage of time dilation when we get close to the speed of light but that sucks because the time on earth would go wicked fucking fast relative to the ship.
