That's why the films are better. Cuarons and Yates' were very well done, there's brazilian undertones and other things. Its a really well shot series.
Also the time turner isn't a plot hole. The time travel in the film is correct for a closed loop and abides bycthe novikov self consistency principle. Buckbeak never dies and there's no alternative timelines where he dies. Also time is a motif people who don't understand why the time turnturners aren't used is bc one they are regulated and later all broken and two because its british tongue and cheek humoe that they'd give such and object to a nerd to take more classes with. Its british self deprecation. Also hermione ages 2-3 months extra that year time traveling

Not only that it is literally written in the books that her face is white and that probably most people who read the books assumed white, seeing how it's set in a more classical english setting: But what about that 12 year old girl who never read the books, but saw the first movies whom now have to make sense of how Hermione suddenly turned nigger?
