All the new money being created through debt gets paid straight back to the banks who "loan" it (although it's not really a loan if they are not lending you their own money, it's money that has been created out of thin air when the loan contract is agreed), with fucking interest on top of that, meaning all the wealth is going from the poor to the rich in a way never seen before. The US has a similar situation on steroids, it prints its own money by the billion just to pay back the interest on its own national debt.
