I enjoyed this movie, i have a bro in law in the navy, and what really hit home for me in this movie was the deployments and how the wife being alone and raising kids on her own and doing everything by herself. Him coming home and not really being "home". I see it with my sister. Also you see in the movie how he mentally deteriorates from war, and what war is. Losing friends, PTSD, and leaving loved ones behind. It was a simple modern war film and it did good with what it is. I hate that whole fucking beginning of the movie is the end bs tho. Can hollywood stop it, its annoying.
