Black and Latino obesity rates, if I recall correctly, are well above 40% each (over 80% of all black women are at least overweight) while white Americans have an obesity rate below 30%. Some anecdotal evidence of mine is that I hail from south Texas, easily over 90% Mexican/Hispanic. Pretty much every single adult is seriously overweight and many are obese. BMI literally is the most broken system for measuring weight. The main problem is that it doesn't take into account how some people are born with just larger frames (making them weight more), and it doesn't account that muscle could be making up the weight.
Thus, to be considered "normal weight", you have to be a fucking twig or a woman.
For example, I'm 6'3", 208 lbs, look skinny, I work out but I'm not jacked or anything, and my BMI is 26.0 so I'm considered overweight. My dad isn't fat, he's built like a brick shit house cause he has just always worked out, he's about 6'1", 230 lbs which pegs him at obese.
Not saying that a lot of Americans aren't absolutely fat pieces of shit, but a decent percentage of those people are likely perfectly healthy and are just built bigger than others.

They feed corn to the cows, which makes most of our meat hugely unhealthy.
