With a two party system only 50% of the nation can be disappointed with the government. In a four party system, 75% of people can be disappointed with the government.

Someone who recognises the links between the individual and society. It doesn't mean collectivism, but it opposes the rampant individualism of "libertarianism", which is really just classical liberalism taken to an extreme. A co-operative, harmonious society based on strong civil values and political engagement is what they strive for.

Because you need 270 electoral votes to win, and no party would achieve that. So people band together in a party large enough to have a chance at winning.

Multi-party systems work perfectly fine almost everywhere else in the world.
It's strange. Your own limiting beliefs about a multi-party system being an impossibility are in fact making such a system impossible in the first place.
