How do I choose a church /pol/? The closest one? What should I expect from the different congregations, such as Bapitst, Presbytarian, etc.?

Non-denominational >>>> Orthodoxy >>>>>>>>>>> Catholic > Protestant denominationals (i.e. Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, etc.)
>>75059471
Well, the only acceptable churches are Eastern Orthodoxy, Coptic, and Catholic. Protestants, Lutherans, Baptists, Presbytarians, etc are all traitorous heretics.
>>75059471
>Catholics are the nicest, but the mass at those is excruciating
>Baptists usually have the most edgy pretend gay kids to be defiant of the church so avoid at all costs
>Presbyterian
No clue

What is meant by non-denominational? Also isn't drooling over Orthodoxy just a rusboo meme?
>>75059779
Non-denominational is actually what the name implies: it is Pure Christianity, without the made-up rituals of Catholicism, and without the evangelical southerners of Baptism.
Christianity, as outlined in the bible, is supposed to be about following Jesus and working to do as He would have done on earth. All of the extra fluff added by other churches is just that, extra fluff.
The first form of Christianity was not Protestantism, nor was it Catholicism or Orthodoxy. It was purely being a disciple of Jesus.

Righty-ho.

>Non denominational
>Pure christianity
You mean pure heresy, that is how all the stupidity in modern Christianity appeared.

Orthodox, though I would recommend if possible avoid the Rusky and Greek churches, or make sure your local Orthodox church is not involved in Rusky or Greek politics.

Isn't it kind of retarded joining up with a church that represents another culture though? Obviously I'm not going to join a Greek or Russian church, they'll be suspicious as fuck.

One thing you must understand is that Orthodox churches are meant to eventually be absorbed into a nation and only represent that nation.
Currently because Greece is poor, Russia is busy and Serbs, Romanians and Bulgars don't care. There is no missionary branch of any Orthodox church, which means you just get the churches of Eastern Europeans who migrated.
So if you want culture, but still being a non heretic I would recommend you look into Anglicanism, as in the 19th century it used to be basically Orthodoxy, minus the Greek rite, so maybe a local church in Kiwi land still keeps tradition and is not full SJW.

Thanks Romabro, I'll look into Anglicanism. I know that they have a large presence in NZ.
