I have no problem with gender roles not being forced upon people. The majority of people conform to gender roles simply because that's what they want, but there are those that are simply incapable of doing it, and they should be encouraged to do what suits them best. If we look at /r9k/ we see a bunch or neurotic, whiny and feminine men who will never be able to live up to the male role. They should be encouraged to become home makers, house husbands, and simply take on a more feminine passive role that suits them. On the other hand we have some women who are more like your typical spergy STEM lord. They should be encouraged to peruse science or just a career in general. Forcing them to sit at home and raise kids is a waste of their talents, and they most likely lack a maternal instincts so they would do a bad job at it anyway. 95+% of people conform to their gender role, who cares if a tiny minority are more suitable to travel a road that's not typical of their gender? Let them.
