GG was only ever important as a window into how corrupt journalism is overall. It wasn't about games or sexual favours or whatever the fuck.
It was about highlighting that a bunch of non-game playing liberal arts majors were sitting around injecting their agendas into the writing with a legitimate conspiracy to do so and which narratives to push.
Through that window we got to glimpse the jews of Gawker, and through them 90% of current clickbait media.

It pretty much took a backseat now since it became clear that Assange was saying the truth that corruption and the narrative of false truths was apparent way more outside gaming journalism.
