I know you guys all hate immigrants but I can't wait to leave HK. I'll be going to university in the UK soon with a view to starting a new life abroad. Maybe work in the UK a bit, then move to the US west coast a bit later on for the sun and tanned latinas (pic related).
Personally, the thought of just living in one country for my whole life sounds like a living hell.
I'll probably live in Britain my whole life. Maybe take a year or two and live in some other country. But it'll be in Europe I can't go too far, I was thinking the Netherlands. No doubt I'll move back to the UK though.

I share your general sentiment, I've been to and lived in a ton of places (including Hong Kong) and people who insist on completely staying in their home country are a bit weird to me.
But the reason most people want to leave now isn't to gain experiences but because Europe is simply over. The Euro crisis was already just delayed, the party/media system is completely broken, our welfare state has no future, having to give away 80%+ of your income in direct and indirect taxes is soon socially accepted.

I don't think I'd ever leave my country. And that's mainly because I'm a conservative american, and there are no other western nations that provide what I'm looking for. Everywhere else has no freedom of speech, no guns, etc.
But on the other hand, there's the growing problem of whites becoming a minority in our own country soon. But at least the minorities tend to cluster in certain areas, and the US is a big place and there are always other states or locations I can flee to without needing to leave the country.
Only thing that would cause me to leave the country is if we have a true happening. Finanical collapse, civil war, balkanization, etc.
