My boyfriend and I have been planning on going to Ireland, Scotland (5 days each) and Spain (1.5 months on the Northern coast) this summer. Already bought all our tickets. Seriously, should we cancel? It seems like every day the threat of terrorism is more real and the police continue to go deeper into denial. Am I paranoid because I go on this website too much or is this realistic? And if we do go, what should we avoid?

It definitely depends but i for example live in quite a small town (around 10k people) and within half a year its allready enriched. Crime have skyrocketed, People put cars on fire, rapes are commonplace, robberies are mroe common now etc. But i think the safest is small towns up north.

I live in the South West and a few times a year I have to go to London and it is a culture shock to me, it's a real shame and I don't like it at all but after a while you get used to it, like you get used to seeing niggers in American cities.

I just returned from 3 weeks in England. Got back home yesterday as a matter of fact. I spent 1 week driving through Europe. Took the Dover ferries into Calais France, from there we went to Bruges and Brussels Belgium, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt Germany, then north into the Netherlands. Lots of beautiful driving through Germany to get there. Our time in Europe was kind of limited but it was still great.
We were staying in Margate UK and did a lot in England. Dover Castle, Hever Castle, Deal and Walmer Castles, Stonehenge. Jumped fences to go see old WW2 pillboxes in fields. Spent a day in London but easily could have spent 3 or more there. Saw Roman fort ruins at Reculver and Richborough. Singletrack roads at 60mph are both terrifying and exciting at the same time when a car is coming straight at you.
