Personally, I think hitting someone with a vehicle is pretty much the fastest and easiest way. In my city awhile back some drunk guy was in the road and got nailed by a newspaper deliverer early in the morning. The car was only going like 35 MPH but the drunk dude was in a coma for awhile and got FUCKED up. Teeth busted out, right arm broken, shit was a mess.
If you hit someone with a truck at 35 MPH and drove off it'd be damn near the perfect crime. Some evidence may get left behind, paint chips and shit, but I doubt that you could get convicted. Woke up hearing noise outside and figured it was some cats at first. I could hear something at the window in the other room, so I looked out the window of my bedroom and could see two sets of footprints in the snow outside going across my lawn. I started to walk into the living room and could see a silhouette at the window of someone. I started freaking the fuck out, about to shit my pants and could hear them fucking the window. I could barely move. I soon snapped out of it and went to my bedroom trying to find my phone and call the cops, but for some fucking reason I was having a hard time finding it. I always put it in the same place. I guess I was freaking out and knocked it off the night stand without realizing it. I have no idea how long it took to find it, but it seemed like 5 minutes but was probably closer to 10 seconds. It seems like trying to find my phone took longer than anything else that happened, which I think is weird. I then heard him start opening the window. I dropped the phone and grabbed my gun from my bedroom. By the time I found it and got back, the guy was most of the way through the window so I yelled at him to get out. He started cussing and then said something like "Someone's here. run!" I shot him twice and stood there with the gun aimed at him for what seemed like forever before going back for the phone and calling the cops. When I told the dispatcher my address she said cops were already on the way. A neighbor heard the shots and called them before I could. There was a second guy there who I never actually saw, just his footprints and they got him a couple of hours later.
I'm not really fucked up from it or anything. Sometimes I think that the dude would have probably gone out the window and ran off if I didn't shoot, so yeah, I probably shouldn't have shot him. The guy didn't have a gun on him, just a knife and a little flat crowbar thing.
