Why shouldn't I vote for Bernie Sanders?

>I'm poor
>I'm in debt from college
>I want free health care (I'll be willing to pay an extra 10 bucks for health care)
>I am against the loopholes of tax for the rich
>I believe globalization and free trade are great things
>I'm tired of how I'm forced to bank with huge banks like Chase, who nickle and dime me

Seriously Why not vote for Bernie?

I do not dispute this, but we all should be paying a bit more tax for the benefit of all.

I make a 1000 dollars a month. After taxes I take home about 700 dollars. I can be taxed an extra 100 dollars or so to benefit everyone. If I can live off 600 dollars, a millionaire can live off few thousands

so instead of directly paying 100 dollars for the things you want, you'd rather be forced to pay the government those 100 dollars, for them to pay a huge and inefficient bureaucratic apparatus, who will then provide things you mostly won't need?

How much is private health insurance for a young healthy adult? Probably $50/mo? Doesn't the employer pay it in America?

American Socialism is a pyramid scam designed to vampire as much capital from a shrinking youth labor pool into a dying older generation. In order for Socialism to work, a nation must maintain a 2.1 positive birthrate. That is one child to replace the woman, one child to replace the man, and one extra good little taxpayer. Their must be enough young and working people to support the leeches and retirees or the entire scam crumbles like a house of cards.

The problem with this is, Americans are not breeding. America has a 1.88 birthrate, not enough to replace the retiring older generation and thus finance their retirement. What happens when a pyramid scam starts cracking at the foundation?

America imports third worlders to fill the gap in the shrinking labor pool due to the older generations not breeding. The workers imported arrive via Illegal Immigration, H1B visas, and Amnesty Programs.

Examples include; Yemen=4.1 birthrate, Somalia=6.6 birthrate, Mexico=2.2 birthrate, India= 2.5 birthrate, Pakistan=3.2 birthrate

Well, with this we can already see a problem. In due time, the immigrants will outbreed the dying native population and replace it. Which leads into the next problem.

THE WELFARE STATE propagated via rampant Socialist governments. These include as examples; Social Security, Section 8, Welfare, Student Loans, Disability, Medicare, Medicaid, Student Lunches, Food Stamps and on and on and on.

Immigrants get access to this Welfare State as soon as they step into our borders. Why should they work and contribute to the older generations retirement? So, with a welfare state in place that actively encourages the immigrants to leech off the tax payers and not contribute, we get an even bigger burden on the pyramid scam.

Sweden 1.9 Birthrate
Norway 1.9 Birthrate
Germany 1.38 Birthrate

It's happening all over the western world. Socialist states are dying, being invaded by shitskins, or in the middle of collapse themselves(Venezuela). There is not enough good little taxpayers being born to fill the gap left behind by old people and leeches and the governments are running out of money to fund their pyramid scam. Socialist states die. It's not a matter of if, it's when.

Sounds like it's in your interest to vote Sanders.
Only your short-term interest, though.

Young students always want to vote for socialism because they think it leads to free money for them. But it would also make it impossible for them to ever become successful in the middle class, because as soon as they start making adult money they're be the ones getting taxed into oblivion. It is and always has been a short-sighted solution for short-sighted demographics.

I have no idea where you got the notion that Sanders is for free trade.

>>74402571
Go ahead and vote for him. He's the candidate tailored for you. I, on the other hand, have a job and have healthcare, so I don't give a shit about those things and have no reason to vote for him.

For now, there seems to be a lot of other people in the same position as me, so the chance of Sanders winning anything other than a few primaries is slim. We'll see how long that lasts though.

>>74403269
>but we all should be paying a bit more tax for the benefit of all.

Fuck off. Says who? I'm not paying for jack shit for some loser. Why don't you go ask Bill Gates to fund your social welfare program.

And what are you even talking about? What are you going to use that tax for? The government is just going to throw it at old people who need gov't pensions because they were too fucking selfish and short-sighted to save when they were young. Or it'll give a bunch of bullshit jobs to inner city minorities to win their political support. You want higher taxes? What for? Can you even name something specific?

>If I can live off 600 dollars, a millionaire can live off few thousands.

I got news for you. Anyone ambitious enough and resourceful enough to start a company, or manage a big one, or be an entrepreneur in general, is going to go somewhere else if he or she cannot enjoy the fruit of their labors here in the US. Those entrepreneurs are the reason the US has achieved what it's achieved (moon landing, Voyager probe, etc).

As an example. I just read an article in The Economist, about some hard-boiled egg manufacturer who didn't like paying $50,000 a year to dispose of the egg shells of his product. So he worked with a researcher to devise a method for converting egg shells into powdered calcium carbonate, which he then sold to polymer companies for use as a filler. That's enterprise, and the government can't do it. They can only create the conditions that encourage it, and get out of the way. Anything else invites disaster.
>>
>>74402571
>I'm in debt from college

Why did you go to college knowing you couldn't pay for it?
>>
>>74405445

And P.S., starting a company requires a ton of work, personal investment, and risk. Ask anyone who runs their own business, and they'll tell you that they think about their company 24/7. Most of them use their own money to get the business off the ground. Are you suggesting that in the slim chance their business succeeds (most fail), they ought to be rewarded with obscene tax rates so a bunch of under-achieving hyper-consumers can buy more craft beers and sushi?

Most millionaires, by the way, have only $1-10 million in net worth, and live WELL below their means. The most commonly owned car among millionaires is the Ford F-150.

Do you want to tax corporate profit? Earned income? Saved wealth? The specifics matter.

Free trade allows for cheaper goods for the consumers. And eventually the globe will allow for better competition and specialization amongst different countries.

US has a huge specialization in food. Free Trade and globalization allows the US to raise prices of their corn to counteract the cheaper TVs from China. We'll all have jobs.

>>
>>74409843
Who did you vote for in 08 and 12?
>>
>>74409322
That's fucking idiotic questioning, your position is just to remove taxes in general then. But government cannot exist without taxes. Social Contract theory by your very own John Locke, already argued why government exists, and how taxes are forms of tribute for safety and services. Raising taxes allow for better care for all. The simple reason that they decide to want to live in this country is enough to justify raising taxes for all.

>>74409346
I'm paying part of my income as well. And when I earn more income, I will be paying my proportion equivalent to what I'll be making. If it involves paying more money, so be it.

>>74409578
Obviously, since currently the government is in the competition of healthcare, and the problem is needing to compete for healthcare. If the government centralizes the healthcare system, and actually controls it, there'll be easy price ceilings and floors to control prices.

There is no reason why an outside service is to provide for a much needed general common good. And Doctors will be getting paid much better with better protection than now. Currently doctors pay a premium to insurance companies and lawyers. By centralizing the healthcare system, doctors are actually protected by bogus lawsuits, and they can actually do what they want to do and that's be doctors, not insurance manipulators
>>
>>74409843
I'm referring to wait times and such alongside rankings in magazines like Forbes. Like you said, its there but its poorly distributed and that won't change when the government gets involved.

With socialized healthcare, people are lot more willing to clog up waiting rooms even for the most minor shit. 4 hour wait times while you have a fractured vertebra isn't fun.
>>
>>74409810
And it doesn't even fucking do that. You teach kids social skills by letting them tag along with you wherever people socialize. Honestly i think this is a great myth. A lot of people learn to be insecure, get misdiagnosed with ADHD, get to be beaten up by assholes with shitty parents, get hooked on drugs, etc. I see no real evidence that public schools improve socialization in children.
>>
>>74409697
>And if they don't want to pay more than the bare minimum, then what? Force?
Then get out of the country. We need to force people to pay for services that help the general good. Hence the military. How big of a cuck are you to not want to help the military PROTECT your assets? Same thing with healtcare, police, teachers, firement, etc. All these things actually help protect your very own company. And if you have more to lose, you would gladly pay more to protect them. Higher taxes easily do that.

And guess what, these taxes actually protect you from these 80 IQ parasites.

No, a government can't exist without force. Taxes are just a method of using force to extract wealth from everything in your power. Fuck you faggot you want to be a fucking slave to the state and live and die based on the STATE'S ability to provide for you goods that you as a MAN should procure for yourself. But you're so goddamn lazy you think the same government that bombs Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Serbia, Iraq, Syria, the same one that creates laws to lock up black people and the SAME ONE that is financed entirely by international banking cartels and resource extraction orgs is going to give YOU free shit because you "paid your fair share."

Guess what retard. They're ripping you off. They're taking your money and giving you less than your money's worth. That money goes to people in charge of deciding where that money goes. You somehow think the people who designed a system you think is unfair now will somehow make it fair if you get the right tax plan and elect the right Jew for the job. This isn't entitlement, I am not asking for money personally from people. I am asking for higher taxes to help fund general goods that protect us all. And with more assets, you can afford to pay more to help us all. Even the poorest of people will be paying a bit more. This allows for a better functional economy that improves the well-being and safety for all part of the country.

Having a centralized government for certain services is more efficient. Such as the military. The US tried state military back in the 1700's, and that didn't work out at all. A federal miltiary is much more efficient. The same can be done with healthcare.

Bernie has repeatedly cited Eisenhower's 91% tax rate on higher income brackets while utterly failing to process the massive differences not only in policy but in economy that we've seen since the 50s and 60s. To say nothing of the difference in how much of that these people actually PAID, it doesnt factor in all the many little unique variables of the era.

It's really almost as if he still thinks the unprecedented prosperity in America post-WWII and contemporary with the GI bill was an astounding anomaly unheard of in human history to that point, thanks to the rest of the developed world basically sitting in charred smithereens. It's never been normal to give your boss a firm handshake to get a factory job, which you can support 1.5 kids, a wife, a car and a house with. Never. Taxing the country to death will not bring that lifestyle back.

>how do you pay more when you don't have any money?
You're right, but they still have a right to exist, and those that have more and have more power should be helping these poor. The king protects the farmers from bandits.

In your country's case, look at Merchantism which the poor paid tons of taxes in tribute where you exploit the workers of India, but in turn you protect them from the Pakis and other invaders. And it only fell apart because you stopped being able to protect them from a bigger threat. The same concept can be applied to socialism. Higher taxes and money help better protect and improve services for all.

>what fiat currency is?
Yes I do.

It was caused by a lot of factors, one which was Nixon taking us off the gold standard entirely, which would consequently and inevitably cause inflation. Arab embargo just made it even worse.

Last year of HS: Drop out, the administration and me did not see eye to eye and they fucked with me constantly because my little bro got expelled for weed.(They thought I was like him but I was on honor roll..... they were fucking idiots)

Take GED test at local community college. Score in top 5%. Get small scholarship.

Am working, start fall semester, by spring semester have a full ride because my GPA is more that 3.5.

Only taking a couple of classes a semester because work. Decide that I can start a business (I was 23 at the time). Start the business.

Wife is scared as all hell. Doesn't tell me and supports me all the way. We start business with $250.00 in the business. We had about $3,500.00 personal savings.

Fast Toward to now: Through a lot of hard work. And I mean it was working 12 or 16 hour days 6-7 days a week we have built a company. (in business 10 years, and as I said 35 employees)

Man up. I want to see you succeed. Socialism is not the path to success.

>>
One of the largest parts of his economic plan is to raise the minimum wage to 15 USD per hour. One thing that one must understand is that the minimum wage is a price floor on labour services. When a price floor is set by a government, it creates a surplus of the good or service, as the cost increases. In labour economics, this surplus is called “unemployment”. High price floors are one of the reasons countries in Scandinavia have unemployment rates more than double that of the United States. The push to increase the price floor is also not correctly identifying the problem. It’s not that wages are inherently too low, it’s that expenses are too high. That’s why households making six-figures are now having difficulty purchasing health insurance. If anything, artificially increasing the cost of labour would make this problem even worse. Another part of his plan is to raise the top income tax rate to 90%. Not even the far-left countries that Sanders holds up as a model (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway) have tax rates this high. Their income taxes top out at 70%, along with a 25% VAT (sales tax). Increasing the size of government will just lead to slower economic growth. Sanders’ view that a larger government will help society is largely ideological and not rooted in any empirical data and research. As stated previously, he states that Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway are models that we should follow. Those countries have something called a “cradle-to-grave” system, where the welfare state is so large that it consumes one-third of the nation’s entire economy. In macroeconomics, there is a concept known as the Rahn curve, which states, generally, the larger the government is as a portion of the economy, the slower the economy grows. This is due to the fact that every dollar that is spent on government programs cannot be used for investment in the private sector. We can see this in the real world, as well.

good for you? Glad you found success, but as you know there are different ways people want success. Each of your 35 employees could easily say they found success by working for you simply because they were in a better situation than before. But the fact remains, for your little business to continue to function very well, it's better to have a higher tax to protect your business and improve healthcare. Without proper general services, you're going to have to higher people to protect yoru business instead of police protection if you want to be extreme. Which is basically the same thing as paying a higher tax.

Socialism has a place in society, I am not advocating for complete equal distribution that eventually ties to communism. But I am advocating for a higher tax rate to better service all.

How do you make so little money?

>It's not free, I understand that. I'm even willing to pay a bit more taxes to benefit all.
try earning over half a million a year, and then we'll see if you feel the same way

>I believe in globalization and free trade.
Isn't Bernie for protectionism.

Also, lets say you do finally make it to middle/upper class, enjoy paying higher taxes.

That's pretty good. How long did you work those endless weeks though? What steps did you have to take to get to where you are?
>>
>>74415846

The first three years were the most endless nights. After that is stabilized to typical 8 hour days, 5-6 days a week. The most important thing at the beginning is if you can't afford the payment easily don't buy it. It wasn't tell our eighth year that we had to get a bank line of credit(just to do the cash flow and amount of accounts receivable that we had past 60 days)

>you don't need college to get a good paying job that requires more than an online education

Wow I didn't know people could be this stupid

Sorry if I owned a business I'd rather hire the PhD. From Harvard than "I know everything I need from the internet"

Its not about being slaves to the government, it's about getting credible qualifications for your abilities faggot, even if you can learn everything you need to know about on the internet.

Also, when I say for the most part. I still would work estimating jobs at home after I got home from the field but it was a lot better than before where I'd work a 12 and come home and estimate a jobs for 2-4 hours before I'd go to bed.

Because his policies have failed everywhere they've been tried. Just look at Venezuela

Any minute now, two lispy, whiny high pitched numale voices will arise from the left.
Voice A will say this wasn't real socialism.
Voice B will say it's all America's fault.
There will be some overlap.

If you or your parents don't have the money to pay for college up front you don't belong in college.

Yes, pay the government in taxes for the protection they provide, roads they maintain, the educated people they create, but not to help out lazy immigrants and welfare for them and their ilk.

Socialism can work in a nationalist society. Open borders requires a more libertarian structure so that our nations don't have urchins beneath our hull.

Stop assuming immigrants are lazy, they're just uneducated at this point. Education provides the best method for assimilation. Look at all the East Asians in the US. They are the farthest away culturally from the European West, and yet, seems to be assimilating the best out of all races. Hence the need to raise taxes for free college.
