Why does separatism in Europe come hand in hand with leftist degenerate cuckery? I can't think of any separatist movement or more precisely the regions accociated with these movements in Europe that is not filled with leftists. I'm excluding Belgium because the Flemish make up more than half of the population. Talking about places like Catalonia, Scotland and Bretagne.

Not talking about Eastern Europe. Too poor for these kinds of movements.

Since when do Crimea wants to separate from Russia? :^)
Also it is because neo liberalism a.ka. "socialism" is contrary to Nationalism

I don't know did not make this map, perhaps they meant that it wanted to become part of Russia which it did but did not recognize it as Russian territory. The map seems pretty anti-Russian considering they didn't paint more as 'novarossiya' while making other separatist movements as big as their claim.

I thought Northern Italian secessionists were right wing?
>>74399399
>neoliberalism
>socialism
>the same thing
lmao
>>74400804
Are they? I know Venetian separatists are left wing. Don't know much about Northern Italian secessionists but that movement isn't that big is it? If it's like the Frisians over here I can't take it seriously.
>>74399063
Bavarian seperatism isnt leftist iirc
>>74399063
Separatism is actually caused by Nationalism, which is neither right nor left.

Frisian separatism is a joke and I am Frisian. You know it, I know it, Friesland knows it.
>>74399063
Portugal strong! Only crappy islands ever think of leaving and they want our shekels so they don't.
>>74401774
Yes but my point is that they almost always seem to be infested with leftism. As I said Catalonia, Scotland and Bretagne comes to mind.
>>74401655
That's a good point, does it have any real movement behind it or is t a joke like Frisian separatism?
>>74399063
>wants nationalism and identity to survive
>gets mad when sub-cultures want their nation and identity
>its the lefts fault!
you have to choose whats imporant, culture is made of sub cultures, good luck being a consistant movment /pol/, you can barely decide whos white and whos not
>>74402084
I'm wondering why these separatist movements seem to nearly always go hand in hand with the far left of the countries in question. I don't have anything against sub-cultures wanting a nation for their own.

this

I hope that you realize that economic policies like that of Ronald Reagan's are considered neoliberalism
>>74402238
well it seems to me like reactionaries and liberals would be on the same side when it comes to issues about separatism
both would atleast be against conservatives when it comes to the what they represent, which is the status quo
they wouldnt agree on anything else, aside from the fact that they would support the publics outcry for change, and democracy.
While reactionaries would focus on some past time, /statues quo ante
but i dont know if i would say all leftst would agree, as there are plenty of universalists and globalists /communists on that side
