Should the provision of food stamps to people be tied to them being not overweigh? I.e. have regular quarterly checks whether someone has a normal weigh, and if he or she is overweight do not hand out food stamps?
I'm fine with food stamps as long as they are only redeemable for healthy, worthwhile items that are value deals.
We have poor people that are fat dude, think about that. There is so much food that poor people can get overweight from it it's a joke. Anyone living in a western country is part of the top 5% of humanity in terms of wealth

If it's a properly run social safety net, then yes it's a very good idea. Similarly with subsidizing nutritious high-protein food for pregnant women because it's not like we need more retard children.

The food stamp program is meant to keep the plebs in line and keep things running smoothly for those at the top. Here in the U.S., there would be chaos if the SNAP program ran out of money, and social chaos is bad for business. Although if they are really fat they could die from a vitamin deficiency before they die from starvation.
Lack of protein is also an issue, but the body breaks down muscles to cover that.
