North Korea is a sovereign nation, like any other. There is no healthy reason for us to refuse to engage diplomatically with them simply because we disagree with their internal politics, which are none of our business. Our goal is to reduce the nuclear threat they present, not to free their people, who, again, are absolutely none of our business.
