Unlike rato, bernie's agenda isn't to prevent hillary from getting the nomination - it's to get enough votes that he has some influence over the dem party's direction come convention time, even though hillary will be the nominee
>>
The way I see it, the longer he is in the caucus race, the worse Hillary appears. If you haven't noticed, every time they have a debate, her numbers go down a few points. She gets exposed to the world a little more for the corporate whore she is.

Also superdelegates are bullshit, and this race is likely to get people thinking about how bullshit they are.

The Democrats have to appoint someone if Hillary is taken into FBI custody so he may as well keep his campaign running until the convention.

He cannot understand that niggers are allowed to vote and they have no idea what they're doing. He says "I know that I call myself a socialist, but most Americans love their social programs. I am the most fervent supporter of equality in the race. I am for the everyman." Niggers hear "big words, white man, must be evil, clinton say she's a sista, that's my vote, look how she can pretend to talk like us, muh dick"

You're wrong. Niggers (and in turn, their pastors and college professors who control them) don't want equality for all, they want gibs for themselves alone. Egalitarianism is racism to them, and they consider it regression if any other race were to recieve all the entitlements they get.

With Bernie they become equal, with Hillary they remain special.
>>

They should learn to hate the DNC. This is a good thing.
>>
>>74367682
This. It's the most ironic shit in the world that they are the "democratic" (as in """democracy""") party, when they can literally ignore every single vote and just let the superdelegates call it.
>>
Not true. Superdelegates only count at the convention, which is likely to be contested as neither candidate will win a majority through pledged delegates alone.
>>
He should switch to independent, he was cheated out of the presidency.
>>

Because Bernie is counting on challenging the superdelegate system as being unfair.

Without the superdelegates, Clinton is over 500 delegates removed from the nomination.

I'm not complaining, it's just hilarious that Bernie has turned out to be more destructive to the Democrats than Trump has been to the Republicans.

Whereas Bernie is crashing the DNC plane with no survivors. Bernie is truly Trump's greatest ally.

>>

I don't have a kink on hand but I have seen that blacks (and also the leftie aztecs) are voting below their demographic weight in the dem party during these primaries.

It's not like all the white people remaining in the party vote Bernie. The internet makes the Bernie crowd seem much larger than it is. For one, SJW are split because voting for a woman automatically gets them a full week of their dopamine needs.
Then are the suburbia soccer moms, the kind that militates against guns.
Then there are all the people that don't follow politics closely, vote dem because their parents did or because they vote left whatever, without following closely what is happening. They are typically very receptive to media (they are the only one left that are). To them, Bernie is sold as an "extremist" (and as the media say, anyone with conviction is evil).

TL;DR: Yes.

Sanders has decided it's his mission to "clean up" the DNC. He thinks the nomination system is unfair and is dragging this whole thing out and making a spectacle out of it in hopes of drawing attention to what he sees as the problems. The fundamental flaw is that even if the DNC made everything work the way he wants, it still wouldn't be enough for him to win. In fact a lot of projections show he'd do even worse under a reformed primary system. The result is that he's looking increasingly less like a righteous crusader and more like a deranged zealot. He's the worst kind of bad loser. He caucused with a party he's refused to be a member of in order to better his chances, but refuses to cooperate with them as they inevitably nominate someone else. It would be like someone trying out for a basketball team, getting picked, trying to make the starting lineup, losing out to Sporty McBasketball, then whenever he gets subbed in later fucks things up and refuses to leave the court when asked and declares that just because he joined the team to get a shot at starting doesn't mean he has any obligation to help Sporty or the team win.

>>
>>74373354
Super delegates are voters picked by the DNC on the notion that they'll support their chosen candidate. They do not have to vote for the winner of the state they reside in, meaning that tend to hundreds of votes can sway to the other side potentially.

>Clinton fewer than 100 delegates from nomination
Only if you include the unelected superdelegates.

As of last night the pledged count is expected to be
Clinton - 1767
Sanders - 1488

There are 781 pledged delegates left in the Democratic race. If she wants to be able to guarantee a first ballot win without having to rely on the unelected superdelegates, she needs 616 of them to hit the magic 2383 number.

That's not gonna fucking happen.

Which is a big problem for Clinton going into the General. One of the biggest criticisms of her campaign so far from Sanders supporters, Trump supporters, and the parts of the media that aren't enamored with her, is that the Democratic Party establishment has basically treated her like the anointed Chosen One since the start of the campaign, that the main reason she's winning is because the party leaders, rather than the voters, decided from the get-go that she was the candidate and they were going to do everything in their power to ensure her victory.

The only contests left for the Democrats now are the June primaries - VI, PR, SD, NM, ND, NJ, MT, CA, and DC. If Sanders keeps up his current momentum and wins 55% of the remaining pledged delegates, we go into the convention with Sanders down by just 100 pledged delegates - a 2% margin. If Clinton then comes in and clinches the nomination because she's got 90% of the establishment politicians and donors on her side, it confirms and justifies everything her critics have been saying about her.

That's gonna make it VERY hard to unify the party and puts her in a dangerous position going into the General Election campaign.

Hillary got a lot of early exposure because the super delegate lead was used as a promotion as well as name recognition. After a few months Bernie started to dominate but it was to late. Hes losing now only to closed votes.

>How the fuck is Bernie losing to Shillary?

>Clinton: 12,982,904 votes
>Sanders: 9,946,565 votes

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/democratic_vote_count.html

Ignoring super delegates, there are many reasons Clinton is ahead. She's crushing Sanders in the popular vote; outside of his home state of Vermont, Sanders' wins are usually squeakers, while Clinton has many wins of 30+ percentage points, allowing huge delegate hauls; and most of Sanders' wins are undemocratic caucuses (same shit Cruz was doing).

Also: Clinton has won all the biggest states that have thus far voted (TX, FL, NY).

>Won Texas by over 30 points

You can't erase that kind of shit by winning states like Wyoming, and the bigger states you do win, by the skin of your teeth (Michigan).

Nevada Democratic Party knew that based on the 2nd Tier vote, the 3rd Tier would probably go to Bernie. They didn't want this. So they changed some rules around!

Changed the Nevada Democratic Party rules so that Nevada's delegates would be awarded to the winner of the Feb 20th 1st Tier (ie Hillary).
However, they also knew that educated people would try to make motions at the convention to object to this rule, and that those motions would probably pass! So....

They also changed the Nevada Democratic Party rules so that all votes on the floor of the convention would be decided ONLY by a voice vote (all in favor say "aye", etc), and that the results of that voice vote would be decided ONLY by Nevada Democratic Party Chair Roberta Lange, and that her say was FINAL.
Item #1 on agenda of convention was to vote for these "Temporary Rules" to pass. This was conducted by paper ballot.
Vote was supposed to be held after convention started, but instead it was held immediately at 10 am early at 9:30 when not everyone was inside the convention and not everyone who was inside had ballots. But you know who was inside and had all their ballots ready? All the Hillary earlybirds (early-hawks) that knew this vote was going to happen early. Vote passed.
Motion to have a re-vote of the Temporary Rules was demanded by citizens. Nevada Democratic Party Chair Roberta Lange instead held a voice vote that the temporary rules would stay. Some AYES, resounding NAYS. But who cares! She votes to pass it. Video of that CHILLING MOMENT here, (PS the beginning of this video is confusing because Roberta Lange is on screen, but the voice is from a woman talking OFF-screen. The voice is of a concerned citizen demanding a re-vote.)

RESULTS: By the rule change and delegate suppression there is a change of 8 net delegates. Instead of Bernie winning by 19-16, the result is 20-15 Clinton now. T

I used to think bashing the "mainstream media" was just conspiracy theorists like Glenn Beck being nutty. He probably never had a chance, but he would have had a better one had he not been such a cuck.

The fact that she can't go three months without breaking the rules, bending the laws and then actively obstructing and politicizing every attempt to investigate is the fundamental reason why she shouldn't be nominated. It's not "avoiding the issues." Her being a nasty piece of work that would say and do anything for power IS the issue. But he took that off the table in the very first debate with his thing about her "damn emails" -- a courtesy she didn't extend by trying to paint this socialist Santa Claus as some kind of gun extremist.

Oh no, don't get me wrong - Clinton is the clear winner in the primary contest. She won the most popular votes and unless something genuinely bizarre happens the next month, she'll have won the majority of states and pledged delegates.

She's the nominee fair and square.

What's relevant here, though, is what the public perception looks like if this ends up being a really close match in terms of pledged delegates and Clinton wins the ballot because of unelected support. Regardless of the reality, it still winds up looking like Clinton wins the nomination because the system is rigged and Clinton is on the side of the riggers... and that doesn't bode well for Clinton's chances of unifying the party over the next four or five months.

(ironically, this is the exact sort of situation the Democratic Party introduced the superdelegates as a solution to - campaigns where it's a really close match and the party needs to pick a clear winner to coalesce around)

Bottom line is the longer this race drags on and the more Sanders wins, the more angry and violent his supporters are going to be when Clinton inevitably wins the nomination and the more divided the party is going to be in the wake of the convention. Potentially even divided enough that a big chunk of Sanders supports will vote for someone like a Jill Stein or Gary Johnson out of spite.

Which, if I'm being completely honest and upfront, is something I'm all for.
>>
>>74378489
What we're seeing now is a growing schism in two parts of the established parties. The radical socialist far left of the Democratic Party and the bonkers evangelical far right of the GOP. Both factions have been a fucking growing cancer on each party, focused almost exclusively on social and demographic issues and dragging their respective parties farther and farther towards the fringe.

As far as I'm concerned, the best case scenario going into this election and beyond, is that these fringe groups ultimately break off from the major parties. The far left goes off and merges with the Greens or Socialists, the far right goes off and merges with the Constitution Party.

This leaves the two larger parties free to transform - steering away from the quagmire of bullshit identity politics and social issues that have dominated American politics the last three decades or so, and instead focus on more important economic and national security issues.

Bernie hasnt had a real shot in 2 months and the idea of going into the convention and coming out the nominee is insane. He is basically betting everything on mass riots at the convention and praying the DNC caves to the protestors

The main reason Bernie is losing aside from Hillary and Bill's election fraud, and the fraud of their minions in their stead, is because of closed primaries where independents are denied participation in the election process. And the Clinton's have been pandering to the black vote for decades.
>>
>>74377075
Hey fucking moron, there has been massive election fraud, voter registration anomalies where huge numbers of people where mistakenly registered independent instead of Democrats in closed primary states.

The Clinton machine has used all the dirty tricks they could muster, and even now barely lead ahead of Bernie.

I think he's running just to get as close as he can and then when the democrats see how much support he has he will use it as a bargaining chip. Basically it will be "I will run as a third party unless you convince me otherwise" which will leave the ball in the democrats court.

We do need him to keep running though in order to secure a Trump victory. The closer he gets to the nomination, the more violent his supporters will become when they realize it's all over. Bernouts will refuse to vote for Hilary in the general, some will switch to Trump just to see Hilary lose. The more Bernie runs, the closer he gets, the better it is for Trump. Especially if he decides to say fuck it and run as a third party which would for surely secure the victory for Trump.

The only way Trump loses is if Hilary unifies the democratic party by including Bernie in her administration or as a VP pick. The democrats lose if they remain unified and his supporters will start rioting because of the amount of donations they have given and how the election was (in their minds) taken away from them. Trump would be smart to play off this.

He thinks he can Cruz his way into changing the party platform (loss to Trump) or pushing the Shill to the left (loss to Trump).

I do agree with Bernbots that it's bullshit the DNC's office-sitters comprise so many of the delegates and they just vote for whomever they please.
>>
Friendly reminder that the superdelegates switching from Hillary to Bernie is impossible since they were created solely for Hillary's benefit and to guarantee that, no matter how unlikable and reptilian she acts, she'll win the nomination.
>>

Cruz was never delusional. Even when he was unable to get the automatic bid he only stuck in long enough that it could get to a contested convention and dropped out as soon as it became apparent that Trump would secure the nomination.

Hilary stole the election, she played the political system to her advantage by sacrificing the freedom of the people to do so. I honestly don't think there is a worst or corrupt politician on this planet than Hilary. She's even worse than Ted Cruz. Clinton has let Americans die, covered up rapes, kept confidential information on her personal computers, broke the law, sacrificed freedom by playing the electoral system just to get what she wants.

As much as I hate Bernouts, they have aren't wrong when it comes to hating her.

This right here. Two months ago, the media was gleefully talking about the fracturing of the Republican party. Trump would be caught up in a contested convention, and an undamaged Hillary would sail through her convention to face a wounded Republican nominee undamaged.

And now the opposite is happening. Against everything the pundits predicted, Trump has won the Republican nomination. The party is getting in line and getting organized. By th time the general election rolls around, the RNC will be running on all cylinders.

Meanwhile Sanders, without a a prayer of winning, refuses to bow out. And he keeps damaging Clinton and will fight all the way to the convention.. The Democrats will go into the general election with a damaged candidate and a party on the verge of eating itself. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if Bernie ran as third party candidate.

What's hard to understand??
It's repulsive that ordinary people are
blind to the simple facts of the situation.

Trump and Hillary don't give a shite about
anything but their own political carriers.

Sanders isn't dropping out because he has integrity and stands for something that most people wouldn't fight for because they think
being ideal is a losing battle. He is in it for more that just his carreer. So what if he splits the party--the party sucks? who would disagree? A loser who doesn't want more for the world or their country?

So what if Sanders comes off as delusional or crazy.
Who the hell respects how this country is being run anyway??! I hate when people complain how things are run and then want to support people who have been in charge already or who come from the fake american rich dynasty. It's bullshite and when it comes down to it the lesson to be learned here is that most American have ZERO integrity and insist on making fun of people that do. GROSS.
>>
>>74389063
Well said. This country is filled with igNOREant cancerous fucks who don't give a shit beyond what's direct to their ego. Case and point: hardly anybody knows what the fuck ego even is.

Ego is the center of your conscious awareness. It's over the heads of most people. Fucking sad. People care more about objectifying their opinions than learning about the nature of reality.

That makes the redpill meme the biggest joke on this board. Such a lack of self awareness is indeed gross

Right, and then he realized that dream is super fucking dead, so he's pivoting to the next most advantageous position. Shillary needs those voters if she wants any chance to win, and while liberals absolutely love acquiescing and giving up important positions just for this "muh big tent" mentality, I would hope at least the Bernouts maintain a spine and get the establishment to bend over to accommodate their wants.

But a lot of those niggers are just tired of corruption, which is something that is more or less all that Clinton is, so who knows. I'm just interested in a Trump v. Clinton race because it's been and will be a long time since we've seen two people with astoundingly high unfavorability ratings running to see who is the least hated.

Except now the next Democratic primary is California and some other small states (in terms of delegates) on June 7th.

If he takes California, by a large margin, and does reasonably well with the rest then he beats her non-super delegate total (currently 1768 Hilary vs 1494 Bernie) undermining her legitamacy.

So many short sighted idiots in this thread.

First, lets ridicule people for donating small amounts of money to give voice to concern that no one else in the country is willing to speak about. Let's ignore that this person isn't being funded by corporations and wealthy financiers. Yeah, stupid kids.

Next, lets denigrate the candidate that's letting our so-called "democratic" process run its course instead of dropping out of the race against an objectively horrible candidate.

Lastly, lets completely ignore the objective ass fucking that the media, and establishment as a whole, has given this candidate from the start. Let us ignore how utterly rigged the process has been from before even the first vote was cast, and how the superdelegates have been added to media narratives from the start to further a very clear agenda to put her in the white house.

Whatever you think about this guy or his policies, it's intellectually dishonest to look at him as anything but selfless in his pursuit to give voice to a large segment of the population that is otherwise ignored.

Enjoy the bread and circuses though.

Socialism already exists in this country. It's corporate socialism. The guy advocates shifting some of that stolen wealth back to every day people to offer up what he and many others believe should be a human right (healthcare).

You may disagree with the way he wants to go about it, but it's disappointing to say that he just wants to "bloat" the federal government or some such nonsense. Or be intellectually dishonest in saying that he's trying to be some super hardcore socialist when we already live on a very socialistic society that is ignored (and by extension distorted) by most people.

Bernie is losing to Hillary for a few reasons.

First, she has the support of the african american voting block, the largest block that consistently votes democratic. The only reason she lost in 2008 was the fact that there was an actual half black person running.

Second, she has overwhelming support from the baby boomer democrats of which there are numbers wise more voting than millenial generation democrats more likely to support Sanders.

He may be a madman but he's the only one who will try to get us out of debt, protect our country, and get rid of all the special rights for corporations and he proposes to do all this while lowering taxes and honestly if he can do all that he'll be the greatest president in US history.

Not to mention Hitlery Clitoris and Bernie "communist breadlines were a good thing" Sanders are literally the 2 worst imaginable people who could ever run for POTUS.

The only reason it's such a close race right now is that the media is going all out against Trump and Trump has only just gotten around to fighting back against Clinton. By November it'll be a landslide victory.
