Sanok's close-ish to Przemysl, in the town you can see one of (if not the) the biggest open air museums in Europe, a manor/castle with a gallery full of old icons and Beksinski's drawings. also, the town square is sweet together with Kosciol Franciszkanow.
Solina is a big artificial lake with a dam. It's good for fishing, riding a boat, or just swimming. Also, a lot of parties.
Bieszczady are nice mountains close to border with Ukraine and Slovakia. Find some nice trail online, there's plenty and stay there for the night, it's 10/10 (pic related).

That's what I'm using. I knew Czech greetings and some basic sentences from living in Prague as a child which helped a bit, and pronunciation isn't a problem. I've just always had a hard time learning languages, but I'm going to keep working at it.
All in all I wish it had been kept in my family and taught to me as a kid though.

In Poland there are though 2 minor languages: silesian and kashubian. Both of them are hilarious.
There are also many regional jargon. It might be hard to identify the part you come from, listening to your accent, but there are some key-words that are used in specific regions and you can be recognized by them.

Well yeah Kashubians consider themselves Poles and would get upset if you suggested something different. While kashubian language has some similarieties to polish, it's rather not understanable for someone who knows only polish and no kashubian. Kashubians speak perfect polish though.
Silesians on the other hand consider themselves completely separate nation. Silesian language is strange mix of polish and german. But what someone else wrote here before: when they speak polish you don't know if you should try to understand or to laugh.

I can speak normal Polish and swap to use Silesian (lets say 70-80% proper), with its accent any time.
