If you take in skilled workers you are damaging the society they came from as they are educated people who could make their country a better place, all the resources spent on this person were for nought as they have decided to leave their home country and emigrate to the UK. This damages the immigrants home country.
If you take in non skilled workers public services are put under strain as they have to cope with educational programs as well as benefits that encourage the immigrant to go into work. This damages the immigrants new home country.
Immigration is damaging to all involved and should be cut to acceptable levels.

1. Leave EU, But keep the EEA: Essentially the Norway model. EU workers can migrate to Britain, but have to maintain full time work for 5 years before permanent residency. Nobody can move and claim welfare straight away.
NO CHANGES TO NON-EU MIGRANTS FROM CURRENT MODEL.
Also still needs to follow most EU trade law, and general rules.
2. Brexit including exit from the EEA:
Can stop migration from the EU, No changes from current model for non-eu migrants (SINCE THE EU DOESNT CONTROL THAT).
This means that Britain loses access to common market, and existing EU trade deals with 3rd party nations.
Needs to re-establish previous closed embassies, and establish embassies to other 3rd parties.
3. Britain leaves EU, EEA and disavows itself from the refugee convention in the UN and leaves the ICOJ and leaves the European court of justice.
100% sovereignty over migration, no access to basically any market, likely sanctions applied.
